First of all - I am not in any way related to the company, I bought my NOIDS Pot for money and I am not getting paid by them.
I just wanted to share my thoughts on the thing. I have used it for several purposes now - decarbing, infusing, making cannabutter, tinctures, oil etc.
I can warmly recommend this great little helper. Decarboxylation was a pain in the stove back then. Now I just put my ground flowers in the NOIDS and wait for (I think it was a bit over an hour) and the weed is decarbed. Then I add butter, oil or weed than has been soaked in alcohol/Everclear. Yesterday I made cannabutter, took another 2.5 hours or so. Then the butter was ready. It can be strained right from the NOIDS with the supplied filter which also acts as a cover.
It is a bit pricey. The volume that can be worked on in a single go is not too great (about as much as a small Coke can, .25L). Still, there is no dirty kitchen counter and fat all over, no watching a pot/pan if anything burns and so on. If the NOIDS does not develop any defects in the near future I am fully satisfied.
(I mentioned the last thing because I first liked my Boundless Tera vaporizer, too. But the 2 Teras a buddy and I got stopped working after only a couple of uses - stuck power button.) So no recommendation for that one.
Decarbing was no fun at all. The NOID pot should make your job much easier.
I have one of these machines. It is 10 years old. It makes a max of 1.18L
I use it regularly to make canna coco oil that my wife bakes into chocolate chip cookies.
Welcome to Overgrow, @SeniorGrower. How is the weather in Germany today?
The weather is … well. Does not know where it’s heading, I guess. It was bright and sunny in the morning, now heavy overcast. We have a few nicer days but in general it is still more winter than spring.
Yes, the NOIDS made my day. Back in the old days my kitchen was always a mess even before I started to make hash brownies And it is nice to let the machine work without supervision …
The MB2e looks like it can make life as easy as well …
Thanks for posting your machine!
I’d never heard of that one before, since knowledge is a good thing, I do appreciate you showing it.
I also use a MBM, for a few years now.
I can process, 2 plus ounces at a whack with it.
The Decarb box holds the 2 oz’s well.
I never got their (MBM) filter set up.
I know one day it will not function, and I’ll be looking for another machine, so it nice to other options, out there.
I have more folks interested in green butter, now more than ever right now. I have no idea why.
I recently last year or so, started making cannabis capsules, in 00 sized caps.
They keep my wife medicated all night long, like her cookie per night did. So to get away from the calories, of sugar, flour, the caps, are just perfect for us.
Thanks for your post!!
