I thought the second guy was Diamond Dallas Page and was like no way he plays Jason! Then I thought about it and he’s from Jersey and the movie was shot here so I guess it’s possible… nope, the guy just sort of looks like DDP at times

And ya know what? You CAN break free of the cycle, but most don’t even realize it.
When I went to Utila for 3 months, I had 1 bag of clothes, 1 bag of scuba gear (was there for divemaster and instructor courses), and 1 bag of “tech” (laptop and dive cameras for my spherical video projects).
I had a TV in my house, that I watched for 2 hours on a rainy night. 2 hours in 3 months. Thats all. I had NO fast food, unless the local pastellitos and balleadas are considered fast food. Internet was there but shabby. At home it was ok in the early am. anywhere public it was intermittent at best (you collect the WIFI PWs of all the businesses you frequent so you always “sorta” have internet when you don’t have a local phone plan. Which is also shabby. I missed NONE of it, and other than taking forever to upload a spherical video (humongous files), didn’t even miss the internet.
And ya know what? in my 590 months on this planet, those 3 months WERE the happiest ever. Not a worry in the world (other than my exams), no advertising, no news, no BS. Just interacting with new people all the time and getting lots of sun.
A better opening line might be “The Problem with the world today, is greedy corporations & individuals cause it to be increasingly designed to depress us.”
