When Mrs. mota and I were in Florida maybe 15 or 20 years ago, we went to a communal religious historical site that was, as I recall, from the late 19th/ early 20th century and espoused Euler’s theories. They had a very cool 3D model of earth that unfolded. They just had all these crazy ideas of how the universe was. On the other hand, they were forward thinking in some ways too. They were some of the first folks in Florida to get electricity. They did so by purchasing their own generator, which is still extant and takes up the most of the room in a medium large building.
It was a crazy and interesting day.
