Yep. Sadly this is actually real…
It’s true. People can’t afford their mortgages anymore and so they expect their tenants to make up the shortfall. The major banks are expecting a 10% price correction.
Considering money is all just made up human bullshit this is beyond depressing.
Agreed. But it has the power to alter people’s lives significantly.
I don’t know this for a fact, and I’m just speculating, but I think I know some couples who are staying together because rent would be impossible otherwise. It’s a twisted state of affairs.
I know of 1 guy in his early 30’s that is pooling together with 3 other friends to try and afford to buy a house together… it’s not working.
I know a few people who have done similar things and my advice was make sure you get lawyers and have everything spelled out exactly or you’re asking for trouble.
I know a few people in that situation, and i live in one of the chesper cost of living cities in canada. Cant imagine what its like on the bigger urban areas
We should get an overgrow compound going.
It’s crazy to the point of being impossible. I’m not a flashy guy, my needs are few, and even a reasonable small needing renos house is a million dollars.
There are abandoned lots listed for more.
