They didn’t have Walmart in the 60s
They did here in the US!
First Walmart was in Arkansas in 1962….
And was the attire more formal or slovenly?
Back then most woman dressed proper. Not now, it’s common to see women and men in very slovenly
dressed clothes.
I wear ratty old shorts and a tshirt that says “relax”
Perfect for shopping.
It’s nothing to see a woman in Walmart now in curlers and pj’s shopping. In the 60’s and 70’s fashion in public was everything. I am always in jeans and a t-shirt, and have dressed that way since the 70’s
I rarely get dressed but when I do I do it with a certain style. Stylish, Foreign, Me.
I have no style at all. Could care less. I only dress up for weddings as I don’t do funerals. I will party to someone’s memory but public mourning is not in me.
If it were up to me I’d wear a tshirt and shorts to weddings and funerals, even in the winter. But Mrs Foreigner has some things to say about it.
I could wear sweatpants everywhere and all the time unfortunately some happenings aren’t made for that. First hand experience lol
Job interview: nice pants:
@mndlss : it’s so I have more time to serve you better.
Yeah sure but I put it in other orifices and it does nothing.
