I’ll also mention that in my family, a rubber spatula was called a child cheater. My mom baked a lot of cakes (as a child they were always from scratch) and I got cheated out of a lot of icing! I haven’t been to chi town in many years only went once I was 18 and a pretty good pool player back then. There was a bar on the south side I hustled a guy for some cash…well quite a bit of cash…he decided he didn’t want to pay up cause he knew he had been played. But there was a couple of knarley biker dudes I had been talking to and bought a couple of rounds. They came to my rescue got me my $ and said now get the “F” outa here ….considering I was under 21 and they knew it.
