This photo was taken at an Elvis Presley concert in 1975. During the performance, Elvis learned that a blind girl in the crowd was a devoted fan of his music. Wanting to make her night unforgettable, he asked his manager to bring her on stage. When she arrived, Elvis knelt before her and asked gently, “I heard that you really like my songs, baby?”
“Yes, sir,” she responded. “I listen to them every night before bed.”
Deeply touched, Elvis later took it upon himself to cover the cost of an operation to restore her vision.
