How much longer till my northen lights will be ready
How about a hint of information like when did you start flowing ?
Have you looked at the trichomes?
I’m with @Papalag , need more info, plus a closer photo of pistils.
As @Papalag said ![]()
and post a couple closeups of buds so we can see what you have…
Cheers

Welcome to the OG! More info always helps in these situations. They look really good and without more info I’d say several weeks, just looking at the flowers.
Hard to tell.
Better pics please!

From 3782 miles away, that looks like week 6 of flower.
Flick a bud and pick your nose. Are there hairs on your nail? No? Not ready.
On a more serious note… 3 weeks
I’m curious to know from where come this NL.
Now for maturity you have to get used to look at the trichomes dominant colors. None of your photos can help buddy, it’s not at the look of the buds that you decide it. But at the colors of the trichomes.
NL is a short finish strain, or the original stuff was. Not sure what you have there, but go out to at least Mid may and then you ought to be in the finish zone, at least theoretically. Get a good glass and check those trichs though!
When you think it’s done, give it another week. Based on the flip date I’d give it at least 3 more weeks, but that’s a guess. Get a loupe or wireless microscope/camera (about $30 on Amazon) and check the trichomes.
I’ve been growing Northern Lights #5 for the past 2 or 3 grows now, everything that I have seen on this thread looks mostly sound to me. about the middle of May either the 2nd or the 3rd full week you should be golden.
regards,
I’m a beginner as well but this is what I did my previous grow. If you’ve got a phone with a decent camera, zoom in hard on the upper cola flowers. You’ll be able to see the trichs. If you can see about 10% amber among the milky white trichs, you’re good to go.
generally NL is at least a 8 weeker – so 3/11 is your starting date then 5/11 is when you might consider harvest
Looking good man and of course check those trichomes under magnification but normally at least 55 days…in the past I’ve had a couple of rare quick flowering strains that finished around day 50 but not common. Your plant is pretty good sized too
Every strain I ever had that was supposed to be done by then benefitted greatly with another two to three weeks time. I consider finishing in 60 days well to be a rare thing from all the strains I have done.
