Not all plants follow the norm

So this here I started growing during South African winter. This is growing outdoors in a pot. I didn’t supplement light, so she went into flower by the time she got to the fifth node. She flowered one nice lollipop looking head one main collar only. When spring came I thought the the pistols from the flower would dry out and she would reveg. But nothing she just layed dormant until last week when when started to flower again. She’s bulking up nice now.

So did you harvest the lollipop bud and leave a few buds to reveg?

She is still in flower, I will harvest within the next 2 weeks, trichomes seem mostly clear and some milky…i don’t think she will reveg now, as we are heading towards winter here in South Africa.

So she stayed in flower/dormant during your summer months?

Yes that was the weirdest thing, I thought she would reveg but didn’t.

I tried to reveg several auto/photo hybrids … they never revegged. I don’t know your situation, that was mine.

:point_up_2: That was before she was harvested

What is the local smoke like in South Africa? What are you growing there?

Well it depends on what u can afford. There guys are growing good genetics from Amsterdam and the US. But that I can’t afford. Then there are guys who get stuff from Swaziland and most of Swaziland stuff and Swazi cross lot of European strains, like exodus cheese and white widow for example. The quality here will vary, so its like purchasing a lucky packet, u never know what you gonna get.
I’ve been growing from bag seed, from the good stuff I smoke, so I don’t know what strains these could be.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that you had access to something untouched by US strains.
As long as you are happy with it, it’s all good bro.

There is one strain I know untouched by any other strains, it’s called TK, it comes from the Eastern Cape region. I’m from Johannesburg, it’s quite far from me…Are you looking to grow landrace strains from South Africa? @Blu-Tri?

Yes I am interested in it. How hard would it be to get.

It can’t be too hard to source, I’ll have to ask around. What do you know about this strain?

I harvested the main kola…Now she seems confused as to whether to reveg or flower. Currently daylight hours in Johannesburg is less than 12 hours.
