Nughead(Skunkteks Sour D x 707 Headband) I have 2 totally different phenos. Pics are of Pheno 2 which is my favorite. Medium-Tall,to me Its the perfect plant nice node spacing,Perfect height for a tent,Would be good for a SOG type setup the way it bushes out. She was topped,I do lst every time I’m in there hasn’t slowed down at all Im hitting the “Rocket speed” phase I know she’s about to blow up. The stem rub is super complex to me definitely Sour Twang going on but it also has Headband funk mixed in there. Either way I’m Happy. I spent the night going over every plant and taking notes…first time Ive ever got out a measuring tape haha. Ill update this as I go.

In all honesty I am running Drip Hydro in straight viagrow coco,If you want to talk deeper just DM me I will gladly share an in depth method! It hasnt failed me yet(been using it for 3ish years now) I feel super dialed in with it,Everything else either burns,isnt enough at there “ratios”. I also do a foilar 1x a week with greenleafnutes Seakelp,.5ml of garden friendly fungicide,I also run silica 1x a week hand watering. Very straightforward nothing complicated. Its more in how much you dryback It all comes together in a Synchronicity,Everything has to be fairly dialed in or else its off. I stopped babying them also,if 1 dies off bc it cant handle the “normal” dose why keep it around? Mixing up multiple different ratios can become confusing,especially with 1 gal jugs,so thats why I stick to just letting them die off(this isnt the same method I use for known cuts,if its highly regarded then fine ill make the other batch of nutes) but if its some random seed that is being finicky as hell out of say 50-100 beans then I just pull it,on my scale I cant wait around hoping it will even itself out,for every 1 dead ill pop 10 more.

Info info info! Important! You know what I wonder everytime Im mixing up nutes? What the hell do my neighbors think Im doing? For example I have a neighbor who is a massive stoner like me,and definitely sees me mixing things. Either way I just laugh it off,I enjoy the mysterious side of things,I’m quiet,stay to myself.

Nughead Pheno 2 nearing 4 Feet in a 4x4. (Taller,Nicer Pheno) I’m considering up-potting to a 5 gal and stretching her across the whole tent. Pheno 1(smaller Pheno is actually in the top left corner you can see half of her) This has a very complex stem rub with both Sour,Headband notes. This will be getting pollinated by a 4 Play MALE(Chem 4 x Wookie 15)-Bodhi,Burger grease nose with very nice female like structure. I’ll get some pics up later of him.

Nughead Pheno 2 tbh I don’t start counting actual days till I flip it’s just easier for me that way, roughly day 90 from seed. She’s hitting that “crazy daily growth” stage and could easily take up the whole tent if I let her,over 4ft now in a 2 gallon.
which is definitely my favorite in this tent right now,If I wasn’t planning to make seeds she would be stretched out and the only one in there. I pulled off a leaf and handed it to my pal and said smell this. His eyes lit up and all I heard was WOOOOW bring some of that down,I said it’s not ready haha. “Please Be sure to give me that 1st when it’s done” he has smelled many leaves for me never have I seen his face light up like that over a leaf. This plant is so vigorous,Grows itself pretty much,Has a complex nose with notes of both sour and headband in there,more details nose wise once she’s all done. For now I’ll just let her take over the tent. The nostalgia,memories just the name is bringing up for me every time I work on her really hits home and tells me I’m on the right path in life,Old times growing up with friends riding bikes everywhere always trying to get some “Sour” “Diesel” or whatever we could at the time. I remember a sour patch kid’s puckery sour that was so loud you couldn’t contain it any which way you tried. I’ve recently realized I have always been on the hunt for the “one,unicorn” but seem to end up down rabbit holes chasing some weird smell or structure which is really all in the eye. Day 90 from seed pushing 5 ft. Going into the flower tent soon. Great structure, complex sour headband nose with a hint of tennis ball rubber going on—something I have never smelled before personally, and I smell a lot phenohunting. This is my favorite of the 2. She is very easy to grow, handles a lot of stress, and doesn’t slow down from what I know of straight Sour D, she can be hard to dial in; this isn’t that. I gave a clone of this pheno to my “cut keeper.” They have 1 massive mom packed wall-to-wall in a 4x4. I’m hoping the flower production is top-notch; either way, I’ll be making seeds to hunt deeper.
Hey i was wondering how these ended up finishing for you? Nose/flavor/effects etc. They were sounding really nice

Nughead Pheno 2 made seeds with both Phenos about 300 beans from each. This had the Sour D nose asked a few people all said Sour Onions,one said meatloaf,Funky. I’ll be re running these soon and hopefully washing Pheno 2. She was a massive lady compared too what I usually pull in a 2 gal,vigorous as heck,leaves snapped right off without pinching on both phenos which is something I will remember…light pull and they would come off.
Nughead Pheno 1 wildfire smoke nose with nothing else going on besides a little funk when broken up. Tighter nod spacing,nose is really the only difference between them.
Nughead Pheno 1 is back left,Pheno 2 is back right for comparison. Pheno 2 is my fav. (big lady)

@CannaBen12 idk if notified you that I posted an update but it’s below. Thanks for following along. I’m am very excited too hunt the beans. Tbh this is my first “legit” Sour D cross. I have considered only hunting the Nughead x 4 Play too find the best phenos I can and further it to an F2 and so on.
Thanks for the follow up!!! I appreciate it! That pheno 2 sounds amazing. Unfortunate that pheno 1 finished with wildfire smoke smells. Not my thing personally. My buddy has a few fems in flower right now. I have my fingers crossed for one of them turning out like your pheno 2

Here’s the Nughead Pheno 2 at Day 47 Flower. I also am not a fan of the wildfire but prefer it to candy,so a win either way. I have this lady in a solo cup just to see how she responded,Nose is Sour(Puke,Acidic type Sour)Chives,Earthy funk. She got hit with Space Monkey Pollen(GG4 x Wookie 15)-Bodhi.
I will be pheno hunting this cross and the Nughead x 4 Play(Chem 4 x Wookie 15) soon. I was very pleased genetic wise with Bodhi,actually blew me away compared to most other breeders,banks. The Nughead also surprised me by just how easy they both grew. Pheno 2 is more forgiving,Double the size,Sour nose. Pheno 1 is half the size(Shorter multi-top bush) more of a headband,wildfire smoke going on.
