Nutrients, I want to get but never heard of LOTUS have you?

Ok so tomorrow I am FINALLY going to have some money to order some of what I need to get started… I chose LOTUS PRO SERIES Nutrients and cal mag. Don’t know much about the company… I chose them basically for the price… for 23$ you get your micro grow and bloom and cal mag . All in 1 oz packets . Powder … I’ve always used liquid… so… is LOTUS any good??? And , being powder, I can mix it with water and use just like liquid nutes rite!!! I mean duh! But just making sure!:100: With 120 $ I have to get coco, pots, nutes, humidifier, and fan… :weary: ugh let me know about LOTUS PRO SERIES Nutrients and if anyone has any old equipment, fans, hygrometers, humidifier… anything that you want to donate to a grow bro starting over with little funds it will be SOO SOo :+1:t3: APPRECIATED :pray:t3:

I would assume with the powder you just mix it in water and feed. You’ll want to be on top of your ph since it’s salts.

As another inexpensive option I used these jobe spikes in my solo cup grow this time and I think I like them enough to do the same with my next run.

Anyway with these I don’t bother with pH which saves me buying an expensive unit that I’ll probably not store correctly anyway.

I read back and see you’re using coco so they probably aren’t it. Sorry for wasting your time.

Hey I appreciate it, you never know I might change my mind

I got a sample pack from Amazon a few years ago and honestly man didn’t love it… Gets clumpy and the worst part fails to completely dissolve in water so basically not worth my time. Some people love it but I’ve been sticking with dry organic amendments for years and never lets me down knock on wood

The thrift stores sometimes have cheap stuff. I’ve never use that nutrients, but I’ve used something like it. There are cheaper alternatives. You need to be careful mixing the powders I believe. Infinity has a pH meter. That’s actually pretty good besides a very good price on Amazon.

I have this product only use it a few times.

I used this stuff for years.

The bottom one is the bloom. These are very cheap products and you can get smaller bottles. It is very stinky, but if you use it very fast like mix it up and get it into the plants it doesn’t smell so bad.
You don’t have to buy the entire gallon, but what I was trying to show is it pretty cheap. General hydroponics is pretty cheap too. LED does suck up your nutrients very fast so you will need cal-mag. Fox farm has a pretty good one. That doesn’t really have a lot of nitrogen in it.
As far as equipment goes, you don’t really need a whole lot when you start the seeds. Start small look around at these places and shop and try to find the cheapest prices. I know it’s expensive to do anything these days.

I’ve been using lotus for a while. It’s amazing stuff. Super easy to use and when mixed the ph is always pretty close to where I want it.
I switched from canna to lotus but might have to switch back to canna. I cant find it anymore :disappointed: other than on Amazon and they only have 3 of the 5 tubs and the price doubled since the last time I bought it.
The grow micro bloom cal/mag boost and flush are all great products!

Oh man Alaska fish poop both the veg and bloom formula smell so f****** bad haha… Like double triple wrap it keep it outside bc if you spill even the tiniest amount, get ready for dogs cats critters to swarm and nearly impossible to clean. It’s a good product but whew pungent…also neem cake/oil really spreads indoors kind of like tobacco citronella smell

Morbloom is like the only flower juice I still seek out, thinking it was hydrolase.
However, after a deep dive, I sort a understand it now.
OK it is not, a hydrolase, but a fish emulsion.
BUT, I have never found MorBloom overly stinky at all.

It is rough, but it is cheap and it does work. I use advanced nutrients, and some of that organic products are a little rough.
