OAXACA 12 Fingers Grow

High everybody!

I’ve opened this Thread to make a little report about the Oaxaca 12 Fingers line i’ll grow. I love Mexican weed, so my main concentration is on growing, preserving and collecting Mexican varieties, mainly Oaxacans. I’ve already grown the Oaxaca79SKULL, which is a line from my friend Vermontman who is growing and inbreeding this line since 79 (different to CBG’s Oax79). And im also a fan of Mextiza and probably everything with CBG’s Oaxaca79 inside. There are some other nice Mexican crosses with CBG’s Oax79 in my little collection which i’ll also grow and report here later, but one after one. (all the Oaxacas in my collection are private lines which i had to promise to hold those tight)

The Oaxaca 12 Fingers was giving to me by a grower friend to preserving and selecting, and yeah thats what i’ll do. The Oaxaca 12 Fingers is a pretty long flowering and wild line. (~18 Weeks.) Will start to germ the Seeds today and post the Update when there are news.

Hey LED_Seedz, thanks for stopping by! Im just using a 600W HPS with a mixed spectrum, but im thinking about to buy a MH for all those Sativas.

Well my try at indoor hasnt been the best. But ive been learning. My goal to be self sufficent with small bonsai moms and make seeds of the strains as well

Never heard of that Tijuana cut x High cbd. Yes i hold little bonsai mothers of my favorite plants, Mextiza etc., have also 2 Oaxaca79Skull, and 2 Mextiza males in VEG. I’ll use the Oaxaca79SKULL as my universal male for crosses, since it’s a great worked line and very stable in sex. Here a clone of a SKULL male rooted in a AeroCloner.

ad high cbd - its quite new seedbank and strain is called TXAKI. btw i remember also Ace Tikal have that mexicans bitch in genepool dominate… and delicatessens her majesty. nice to see you work on that. probably there is nothing like commercial yielding pheno with specific “oaxaca high” (i dont know what i mean, Ive just read it ), or? its not about the yield, but Im also bit inpatient to wait more that 10 weeks for something that yields very poor, unless i have much space outdoor…

Awesome seeing some mexican landrace based grows, I was wondering out of all the oaxacan strains you have grown which do you like the most? I would imagine the Oaxaca79 SF would be in the running with a nick name of “Skull F**k”… How would you compare the CBG Oaxaca79 and the SF Oaxaca79? I have some seeds from the breeder Bodhi that he calls Zippolite Oaxacan, I hope to find a keeper… Out of the landrace mexican lines available in seed form, Which do you prefer?

Here in Vienna they sell a lot of CBD Buds atm which is coming from Switzerland, big CBD scene in Switzerland right now, but never smoked a CBD Weed myself.

Yes heard some good things about Her Majesty from Delicatessen Seeds. Vermontmans Oaxaca can yield pretty good when growing her right, it’s best to grow her from Clone. The OaxacaSKULL “maybe” has lebanese roots. Vermontman was in Amsterdam in the end of the 80’s and smoked some red lebanese hash which reminds him to his Oaxaca. So maybe lebanese migrants brought those to Mexico, who knows, but it has a great type of high which is very comfortable. No heartracing or something like this, put a smile on the face with a nice warm feeling in the Head.

Thank you. Well, till now i haven’t grown so many Mexican varieties, just Mextiza and the OaxacaSKULL. The SKULL isn’t a landrace anymore, it was grown and selected over many generations. It has a very fine powder like resin profile. From the type of high i like the SKULL better, the Mextiza can be pretty intense, the SKULL never was uncomfortable for me. The smell and taste from the Mextiza i like a bit more, really exotic smell, just WOW. A spicy incense 7UP smell.

Had some of those Zipolite myself, but gave the Seeds away. Hope you find something nice in those, not many grow reports on these.

Yes that’s a enormous top cola. I wanna cross a 12 Fingers with a OaxacaSKULL male, the SKULL could bring in a bit more compactness. But at first i need a nice stress tested 12 Fingers girl.

wow, I’ve never tried anything like these sativas, they look amazing! How do you keep the height down - you just top and start flower when they’re small?

Hey Muleskinner, i mostly top my Sativas yes. The Pictures with the long top Colas aren’t mine, have just posted them to show how the 12 Fingers is looking. So im curious if i can controll these indoors as the user JGL. When i know that a strain has a lot of Sativa inside i always use small pots (2.5L). And i also like to let the Seed plants grow till they’re big enough to cut clones from them to flower out the Clones.

Right now i’ve not much to show till the 12 Fingers seeds are popping, so here some other plants grown by me.

Here some Reeferman Santa Marta Colombian Gold. I will hold these Plants in VEG till i finished the 12 Fingers reproduction. Don’t wanna contaminate my Apartmen with other pollen except 12 Finger to hold it pure.

Maybe from leaves? Ive read about 11finger oaxaca79 if i remember good
