The Kali Mist F2s also show really narrow leaf expressions. I´m exited about what i´ll find in the F2. They already show some stretchy, thinleaf, wild, jungle style expressions. My secret hope is to find some dutch haze or maybe southeast asian type phenos that deliver a pleasurefull, zappy, upwinding, hazy rush and very good smells/aromas.
Lovely Grow!!
I loved the Aussi deadheads! I grew them out a few years ago now, and we found the buds, delicious, with a very dreamy buzz, that is up beat!
I do not like to photo bomb, but I do have snaps of mine.
I’m growing out the SSSTN’s and Australia Out Backs now, about 3-4 weeks into flower maybe.
All the best to your projects!!

Wow sounds super nice. I like the dreamy sativas. It’s the first time that i grow OJD stuff, definitely not the last time.
I pollinated the Deadhead a few months ago, smells are very good, sativa sweet/multivitamin effervescent tablet/sweet incene sticks Headshop smell. Fits the Kali Mist very well i guess.
Would love to see some Pictures of yours.
Hey Chills, this was in 2020, I was still rocking LED’s on one side of the 4" x 8’ x 7’ Hydropharm tent, and a 1k HPS digital on the other. Looks like I had removed the cool tube, I probably needed the heat.
I just let them go after germination…maybe not the best plan, but I got through it.
I found them very easy to grow out, the 3 plants that made it, from a 5 pack, all gave a few ounces per plant, like in the pic.
I’m an old guy, been puffing weed since 1971, and folks BEGGED me for a few grams.
But I went all Gollum and shit, with those buds!
I loved rolling up a few and just sharing it with folks, but, only a gun would would have gotten buds away from me, LOL!
Have a blast with yours!!
The water consumption went up a couple of days ago. The thai-pheno of the Oaxaca79xThai starts to crawl a bit on one plant shoot. The smaller pheno does very vell, juicy green, happy leafs. Australian Deadhead has a hint of burny tips but nothing to worry about. Kali Mist has a few sugarleaf crawls on one plant.
I increased the watering from one time a day to three times a day, i guess that will help.
In the Addicted to Haze thread, @StoneGuru mentioned some typical C5 signs. He described it as early veg state signs but i had to think immediately about the Kali Mist. The leafcurl and three finger leafs.
As i mentioned above, my secret hope is to find some dutch haze or SE Asian expressions in the Kali Mist F2s. To be more specific, i hope for a C5 pheno, as the effects are often described to be more gentle, pleasurable etc. Thats exactly how the Kali Mist feels for me. But as an outsider i don´t know if C5 was used to breed Kali Mist or what it is like in general. To find something like that in an F2, oh man that would be so cool…
Here is a picture, maybe someone more familiar with the 90´s dutch haze cuts can say something about it. I would very much appreciate it.
Looks good in there. Its unfortunate its going to be a while until you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Thise plants are going to take some time to flower.
Yea, i expect this run to go until august at least. Maybe even September.
The small Oaxaca79xThai pheno, the Australian Deadhead and two of the small Kali Mist F2 seem to be ready in about four weeks i guess.
The large Kalis could go maybe 90/100/120 days and the thai leaning oax looks like some 150+ strain.
day 64 of flower. The small Oaxaca79xThai and two Kali Mist F2s seem to be pretty ripe. the Oaxaca pushes fresh stigmas and as you may see on the photos there are some calyxes just opening up. I will decide to flush and chop them in the next few days.
These two Kali Mist F2s are the progeny of the pheno #5. They are really small and have ridiculously tiny buds but maybe they smoke killer. The plants that stoped around the 70 cm mark got outgrown by the two insanely high Kali Mists, so maybe i should run them again before makeing a final judgement.
Almost ready Oaxaca79xThai (quite unsure if i should let them push a little longer, they seem to start bubbling up a bit)
Again despite the size they look really good and i really want to smoke them… Maybe another candidate for a second run, but there is so much i want to grow.
They start to lose colour a bit. Now we are entering the critical zone of yellow leaf shit i´m afraid. I feed 1.5 EC atm. Burnt tips, some claws here and there and the deep green colour of the little plants make it hard to decide if it would be better to rise the feed or lower it. Also the Buds develop really slow, maybe because of the heat and or N (?). We will see.
