Your Oaxacan plants are super healthy. Looks great man!!

Soon as I get clones rooted up on this one I cut a bit ago, I’ll throw this plant in flowering. It’s a female. :100::dove:

Why is there foil covering the soil on that one plant? Is it like a no til thing? I don’t think it’s for pollen unless you plan on open pollination? Just curious still love the dancing Kermit!

It’s to make the lower plant glow.
Helps to minimize a light deficiency.
Diamond mylar for the sidewall, aluminum foil holds its shape and stays dry, I use that on bottom.

Interesting🤔. Have you seen a difference or is it one of those things that you just do? I have a few things I do that make sense to me but not really sure if makes a difference. I still do it though. You keep it there through the whole grow through flower. If so do you notice your Lowers and middle finishing better?

hmm maybe, I am not so sure on this, I have seen it done before and the overall opinion was , the reflected light off of the foil was hitting the underside of the leaves and causing issues, the underside of a leaf is way different than the top and can’t handle the light and the foil can magnify the light almost like a magnifying glass

I’ll use the foil to green up plants, the plant was suffering a light deficiency

Didn’t add anything but the foil, I’ll use the foil early on plant with about 4 to 5 inches of soil to build up the plant for transplanting.

Lower limbs love good light below, it beefs up everything. Always use dull side out so no light burn occurs. :dove:

A strong lower base produces very strong upper growth long term.
Before you feed young plants. Put foil or mylar underneath and make sure your plant isn’t in need of more light and less food. :100::dove:

The end result of utilizing bottom defused light early on plants.
Had I topped and pruned it. It would’ve thrown out many giant bud spears…

I supercropped plants too for more vigor and yield. I’ve noticed the more you supercrop your mains the better it gets, I did 4 mains supercropped and the plant outperform in potency and taste last growing season outdoors. :dove:

I scored those Cherry Bomb Maui Waui from Mystic over at Cryptic labs also. I think they were labeled F22’s

Just need a good satty grower to make more beans as they are around 5 yrs old stored up in fridge the whole time.

Sadly I never got his Oaxacan.

Nice looking plants. Reminds me very much of one of the cryptic labs Oaxaca phenos.

Foiled again, I see. :rofl::joy::sweat_smile::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Seriously though, I’ve seen others do this trick. I’ve done it. Keeps fungus gnats at bay too, doesn’t it? Works well for some type of bug anyway, pretty sure.

you could just make a lid that was white and it would do the same thing without the hazard of hot spots.
