Mornin Paps, What is your thinking on the cause of that? Just the Mac genetics or ???
I had the same thing happen recently when my pH spiked up to 8.0 Turned out the town was flushing their pipes and delivering high mineral content. I didn’t catch it and two plants got nailed and just stopped drinking till I swapped out the octo rez with fresh properly pHed water.
I’m thinking genetic myself . everyone growing the same cut is having the same thing happen she is a slow growing plant. There’s no signs of any deficiency at all and ph swing would show up
I have 3 in veg also and they seem like they refuse to get big lol
So I’ll keep them vegging a bit longer this time
Wow 8 .0 is high definitely needed to change the rez on that
How they look now that they have new water ?
They recovered and started drinking again once I realized what was wrong. Annoying because I normally check each batch of water carefully but I’d gotten into a mixing routine and skipped testing pH & EC for one small batch!

Mine seems to be growing at a medium rate… not quite as far along as the Frankensteins and GG4 RIL that I planted at the same time, but a hell of a lot quicker than the PWC. No sign of deficiencies on any of them. Have you noticed the same about the PWC, or is that just me? The MAC1’s already far enough along that I tied down two of her branches for training, while the PWC can’t even reach the ties yet.
Yep the pwc is a low bushy style of plant and seems to be a bit slow on the grow
Funny thing she got much bigger in the Octopot then the 3 gallons of soil I have her in . but good things come in small packages and I’m keeping her. I’ve got to Mac 1 going in 3 small Octopots and they are all doing well the biggest one is like 2 maybe 3 in veg longer than the others . Not the growth rate I’m use to seeing on other strains .
I should mark this down and check my seed ledgers so I might try to group all the slow growing strains for future reference.

You all may have noticed my new fascination with anime I’ve been watching one piece with my daughter. I can’t believe how many volumes that this guy wrote theres like 500 volumes. The actions on the shows are incredible. I did see the movie with my daughter and honestly it was good but after watching the anime on TV I was slightly disappointed!
Well a retired old hippie likes this crazy stuff and it’s great to hang with my daughter and watch the action

Mine are both all growed up and functioning in this Brave New World. Glad I had the chance to “Parent,” glad also that I’m done. Neither of them toke, but they both think my Canna grows are cool.

Both up on the trellis already, Blueberry on the front left and GG4 on the front right. Blueberry’s always gotta be different, so she’s auto-topped herself a few more times since then. Why not, amirite? They do call them blueberry bushes, after all.

I watched like 130 episodes…They say it gets better (there’s like 1000 episodes now) It’s junk. How old is she? I can tell you some better stuff to watch!
I basically watch it because it’s what she likes

A few notes on Frankenstein. 60 days, 8 .5 weeks trichomes were 100% cloudy with one or two specs of amber. I picked the last harvest at 9 1/2 weeks and it was very good but today i tried a small bud that I quick dried and it actually was at her best so far

She had roots in the reservoir but not what I’m use to seeing .
Now the root development in the bag was off the hook
I vegged her from clone in the Octopot for 8 weeks maybe 9 at the first level anytime I went above that level she showed signs of stress. She Hates Wet Feet lol and loves calmag rich feed also the foop spray really brought her around !
Even when using a fabric bag she prefers bottom feed with 1/2 the water you would normally give a plant in 3 gallons of soil
So the extra room from removing Frankenstein gave me a good deal of space, and now the small tent, and the whole room is in flower. The three Mac sisters are in one corner, starting their first day of flower
