Off grid solar led growing

Haha heck ya they sure did. Like it so much they went another month and a half in it. Didn’t harvest til Dec 2 last year

Personally, if the situation permitted, I would use natural sunlight augmented with LED to maintain photoperiod.

Then the amount of panels, batteries and so forth could be drastically reduced.

Of course, depending on the natural day length this could bring it’s own problems but IMO it would work out cheaper.

Might be something to consider for autumn/winter/spring.

Awesome input thanks. . . Im running auto flowering plants this year so I won’t have to worry about the photoperiod or any problems associated with light stress but increasing the photoperiod through the flowering stages with leds should increase my yield and potency

So no greenhouse this year seeing as the wife wants another house house so we are using the money for a new place. But I’ll get my greenhouse before winter 2019. Oh and ill be on grid for the first time in a long time. So i wanted to add supplemental lighting into my future greenhouse but im also thinking about just doing an indoor grow and a greenhouse grow seperate.
