Good evening OG’s–I just had to take a moment and express gratitude to one of the many members who welcomed me when I first joined a few months ago.
@Hashpants offered to donate some seeds for my first attempt at growing. I gave him my address, then pestered him for details about what he would send and when he would send it. A month later, I realized the problem:
I GAVE HIM THE WRONG ZIP CODE
When I explained, he didnt get pissed, frustrated or impatient: he laughed at me, then took the right ZIP and sent me more!
I am grateful to him and to this community where we met. He also gave suggestions a beginner like me needed.
I was thinking I gave my address to an internet stranger and was somehow gonna get conned.
Did he send it Pony Express?
Is he walking it over to hand-deliver?
No,dipshit–you botched the address!
Within a week of noticing, he hooked me up again and I had a letter from the man himself.
The guy went above and beyond, but its not just him. Everyone I have had interactions with here have been patient, friendly and kind to a dude trying to figure out how to get started.
A lot of people are more than happy to send killer seeds. You won’t find so many nice regulars on any other platform!It’s the platform really use due to it and never had any issues with people unlike anywhere else!
