I’m experimenting with brown paper bags over the jars instead of burping.

Looks like a workable alternative, just need to sort out the details.

I would probably jar them now with some 62 percent humidity boveda packs. 50 percent 8s kind of too dry for me. You can also purchase something called a wedryer from Amazon for 100 bucks will make your life much easier when it comes to drying

I have a dry bag. Nothing like that one it looks awesome I thought they needed 69%. Is 62% ok? There are lots more choices for 62%.

Worms came today I didn’t realize how small they would be and it looked like half where dead and the others weren’t moving much.

Picked up the info sheet and low and behold.
#1 worms may look small - normal
#2 worms may look dead or hardly moving -
normal.
Next morning I couldn’t see theme so they must have woke up and moved to the bottom :+1:

Did some trimming before flipping next week. I still haven’t gotten a handle on this issue

Probably better to wait until they get a little bigger and settled, but for population growth, hit them with a smoothie.
Just blend up some stuff and they go wild.

what kind of worms? if there certain species you might be able to pick up local at bait shops

One of your RH meters is reading 80% which is very high. I would take it all out and leave it on a piece of newspaper all afternoon then try again.

Yeah, it will get crunchy on the outside, but that will draw the moisture from the center to the outside when it goes back in the jar. I shoot for 65ish myself for cure, then let it drop to 58ish for smoking.

Worms need blinded food?

Thank You! They are Red Wigglers from Uncle Jim’s. I went to the bait shop and they hadn’t got them in for the summer yet. They just had earthworms and they all died.

Now I just have to figure out how to stabilized humidity and care for them.

Yes, and went down to do that it was up to 90%. I took them out and spread out in the dry rack/bag. Thank You for catching that for me.

It isn’t a requirement, but if you want to have a large increase in population, you can’t beat a smoothie…

Saw a thing on worms ,thing ,a video was by Remo nutrients they used stacked totes , looked like a plan.

I was looking at those. They cost a lot more and I want to make sure I can keep these alive. With this one, You just open the bottom after at least a couple months and “rake” out the casting. I also should never see the worms either.

Ok, need to do an update;
You all know I took down my five plants after they hermed. I have spent the last few days taking down the flower tent. Moving every thing out, cleaning and than moving everything back in and rearranging keep me busy.
Everybody got knew homes. I moved the three @OleReynard 's MED v2 to the flower tent on 12/12. I gave them a shower with 217 first.

I gave the 2 @MadScientist a fill up of the pot with soil, Keem&Kelp, ED and rice hull cover. Than I trimmed and did some training. I hope they make it thru my armature efforts. Than they got a shelf to them self.

I gave the Dinafem auto Moby Dick from '17 the same treatment but, no training. She and the @Shroomgod’s OG Krush got a new shelf to them selves.

The 3 MMH clones got up potted to three gal pots and I lowered the shelf and gave it to themselves. They kept growing in to the light and I couldn’t raise them.
