OG love grow

I have had a ongoing problem with the MED V2. It was recommended they needed Cal-Meg. One came almost out of it, One only had yellow edges. The third has always been bad and the Cal-Meg made no difference. The new growth has always looked like the old. I really need to get this thing figured out before I start back up this fall.

I have been busy trying to undo 5 years of neglect outside. Still working on the flower tent. Got the exhaust vented out side.
I had to cut down the auto Moby Dick. She is totally seeded. If I knew it was contaminated by me messing with the auto bubble gum I would have let it go. But, I can’t risk I contaminated it with the herms in flower.
I put the two @MadScientist girl in flip. I will be flipping the MMH clones as soon as I can make room.
Working on a drip system before I go on vacation

Hi G-Pas. Are you using tap water along with Cal mag?

I was using r/o and cal/mag than stopped that and used well with out. The new growth never changed.

I had put the Moby Dick in the dry closet. I have been cutting and hanging a plant. With one setting in there in it’s pot. Jar the first. I have rotated the first five thru. I actually chopped and hung her tonight. So, six down and five in flower with three clones going in. I hope to find room for all. The herm sure has messed the oration.
Hope to get photos tomorrow if I get a minute.

It’s good to see you growing, I know it’s been a while but I finally made it to your thread.

I hope you aren’t mad I killed the seeds you sent me thru @MadScientist. They went thru a lot from you, to CR, to US. Than they where in a fridge and had a kitchen fire. Moved fridge to basement and the workers unplugged during day (I didn’t know)and I didn’t find it for at least a couple week during 100F temperatures.

Oh no. Poor seeds. Glad you guys are okay though. Fires are dangerous indoors.

This was last Feb just after hubby died and I was a mess. It took over a year and firing the first contractor to make usable. I just got the range fixed from the 2nd not converting it from natural to LP gas and almost catching the kitchen on fire again. I still have to get a plumber to redo what the 2nd guy did and an electrician to fix what the first did wrong. I should have sued as my lawyer suggested but I didn’t realize how much was wrong in the time frame.

Buy the way the DOG DID SAVE MY LIFE. All the house but my rooms was full of toxic smoke and fumes.

:heart::heart::heart::heart: dogs rule. And contractors are becoming less and less reliable. I recently had to sue my concrete guy because he poured my pad a ft short on one side and 8inchs off the other. Why’d I even give him plans? Also, I won’t let anyone do work for me without my presence. Just too many bad experiences. Glad you’ve got your dog. (S)he really wanted you to be on OG. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

My hero was from a rescue. Snicker.

Rescue animals turn out to be the best usually. The only animals more loyal are the ones that come to you. We rescued a cat that people were driving over the top of in the middle of the bridge crossing the Kansas river. It was the best cat we’ve ever had. Always nearby and loyal, and knew how to snuggle, and Not pesky like the other 2 rescues. Lol

Well It has been 22 days without an update.
I was busy trying to get a gravity drip system going before I left on the first cruise to sail in 14 months.
Between building the system, trying to recover 5 years neglected outdoor land scape and packing for a cruise, I neglected my diary.
I was also trying to keep up reading here and supporting all the new diary posters. I try to follow all the ones that few if any follow.

SOOO… drip feed was a failure. Grandson put water in the 5gal pail but didn’t turn on the valve.

I am going to try to build a pump water system. All advice/links are welcome.
After watering all perked up but the one MED. And to make it worse I found a pollen sack one that one.

I just built two 8 point watering systems on timers. It was amazingly easy and under $60

This thread was great! Whatever happened with the bubblegum male? We’re you able to get pollen from him? I hope your plants pull through, keep up the amazing work, thank you for your posts😊

Yes I did. It is in the fridge with the dehumidifier. I had to cut down all the girls to clean as one hermed so I didn’t get a chance to try it out.

Do you happen to have a link to it?

You will need;

two 5 gallon buckets with lids.
A 5 foot piece of 1/2" pex
A 6 pack of 1/2" to threaded pex fitting (you will only use 4, but they sell them by 6)
Drip emitters, I used these:

1/4" tubing, I used this:

And the manifolds:

And to adjust the flow rate on the manifold:

If you need to go up 2.5 feet or less

If you just need to get out of the buckets

And get some PTFE thread tape too.

It’s really self explanatory.

Pump, pex fitting into the pump, fit the pex tube into the threaded end (it fits inside), then pex fitting the correct way, thread manifold on top, dip your hoses in hot water to attach them easily, then emitters on the end.

Do you have photos? I am a vision learner.
I have a 50 gal barrel I was hoping to use. I do have the blu Mate 5gal bucket with a lid and 2 outlets.
I bought 10 of the emitters and paid more for then those 50.
I would like to water 10 to 12 can a 2 or 4 be added to the 8 manifold?
I was looking at a bigger pump. Those would hurt the pocket book less.
:green_heart::seedling:

If you doing a 50 gallon, I’d use the first pump I bought:

It moved too much for me though, but to lift water that high you need a stronger pump.

You could always stack something like these in line.
