This is Round #2 of our 2025 Fundraiser, an opportunity to support the site we all love while scoring some incredible genetics from generous and talented donors. Your contributions go directly toward keeping Overgrow online and thriving, helping us maintain this one-of-a-kind hub for growers, breeders, and enthusiasts alike.

How it works:

• Our generous members have donated up to three seed lots, each containing unique and often exclusive strains.
• You can place bids on the seed packs in the auction section. Support the site, and bring home something special for your garden!

Here’s some info on the sunshine daydream for those who haven’t seen it:

Sunshine Daydream f1 open pollination

I wanted to put together a post with pics and info on all the females, just to make it easier for everyone to find. #1, 2 and 4 I won’t have as much info on or seed-less pics because I haven’t flowered them out a 2nd time yet. #1 is back in flower as of a couple days ago, so Sunshine daydream f1 - female #1 [IMG_8252] [IMG_8052] This one grew more like a kush to my eye. Its structure and branching reminded me a bit of a bubba kush. Smell was very skunky/funky and a bit gassy. Sunshine Da…

There were some really nice plants in the batch (thanks again @tykal and @horsebadorites for making this project possible!)

I would say #9, #10 and @HorseBadorites cut were my 3 personal favorites. #9 and 10 were the most “classic” sunshine daydream of the group. Horse’s cut was the most unique and has an awesome high. But all of them were nice (except maybe #2).

Sunshine daydream has one of the most medicinal highs that I have experienced. I have an anxiety disorder and it works so well for me.

I have also been told by many different people that it is an excellent strain for nerve pain.

Here’s some pics of the mother plants used in the 3 crosses:

Peanut butter Breath:

The peanut butter breath mom is special (IMO). Very stinky girl. She has a rank/foul smell with a bit of nut mixed in. Good yielder. Very frosty.

She can grow HUGE colas if you let her grow one main top cola

Or you can get her to grow lots of smaller top colas with some FIM-ing.

Very dense buds too. Even the lower buds can get huge. They look like hand grenades. lol

I had the least amount of seeds of this cross (i only pollinated a tiny clone), so very few were given out (and very few will be given out moving forward as I plan to mostly hunt the small amount of seeds I have myself).

Here’s @Bobgrows 90’s kush that got pollinated by the sunshine daydream males:

The 90’s kush has been around a long time. Very easy plant to grow. Good yield. High quality bud with an amazing high. I get mostly fruity smells from her. BobGrows and others here (like @420noob, who originally sent me the 90’s kush clones. Thanks again homie!) have more experience with this strain than I do and may have more info to offer. I only got to flower it out seedless one time and I loved it. She will be in my garden rotation for sure!

Here is the Field Trip mom:

Field Trip is a strain bred by Bodhi. It’s GSC x sunshine daydream. It was then hit with sunshine daydream pollen.

I hunted this cut from multiple packs of field trip seeds. I’ve had her since somewhere around 2017/18 (ish) but just recently lost the mother plant so all that’s left of her now are the seeds from this sunshine daydream project. I was very sad to lose her.

Good yielder. Nice dense buds. Amazing smell and taste + a powerful stone. Very relaxing for me, but it also knocks me on my butt. It has a similar relaxing high as the sunshine daydream but more knock you down type of potency. It’s not what I would call sedative though. Just strong.

I am a very small “maker of beanz” - people tell me “you guys do nice work” - well the “guys” are me, myself and I just to keep things straight. And importantly I stand (well these days I mostly sit) behind my work. Any problems and I will try to solve them as best I can.
