Thanks Mike, really appreciate the kind words and all the hard work you are doing. You rock man.
Thanks big mike for your tireless efforts to make this happen.
Stuff like this is why I love the growing community.
No worries, but am glad to see this personally. Congrats vets and a big thanks to those who set this up and donated. Fantastic
Iām willing to chunk $50 at shipping as well if needed. Just let me know!
Again, thank you to all who contributed to this, especially @DougDawson , @BigMike55 and @corgitron. And everyone else who I have not mentioned.
Yeah, I feel the same way. Just that Doug said he didnāt want any money changing hands.
Dougās just āgood peopleā as we say around hereā¦ People who donāt draw attention to their good deeds, people who try to help others, peope who are generous with their time and knowledgeā¦
Definitely a HELL YEAH for Mr. Dawsonā¦
Hey @Breelie and @middleman, not to worry, all expenses are now covered. All thatās left is Mike sending out the beans which will all be completed within 3 weeks. We really want this to be reasonable for Mike so breaking it into 3 groups just makes sense. I realize I said I didnāt want any cash to change hands and I stick by that. Sure I broke the rule but in this case I didnāt feel it was a bad thing. Besides, I made the rule
Thanks @Nagel420 , appreciate the kind words bud. Just happy to be part of what turned out to be an amazing event. Canāt wait to see some of those veteran grows down the line
Thank you. You guys are awesome. Next time (any solid event really) let me know. I just used the hell out of the new Costco membership and got a few hundred stamps specifically for returning the favors.
Thanks @Breelie , I am sure there will be plenty of opportunities to use those stamps as time goes by. Glad you are a part of this event and OG, thank you for your service.
Thank you all for doing things like this! You guys are awesome. When I joined up, I had some freshly bought pack of seeds from ilgm and a few healthy autos close to harvest in need of advice on when to chop. Now I have plenty of seeds iām stoked about growing out and having a better quality of life really. really thankful for @Rabeats2093 for kidnapping me from RIU within days of my posting there
I didnāt realize you were another RIU convert @Breelie, lol. It always amazes me to hear people whine about RIU the way some do and than to see how many great people came from there. I too started on RIU but still go there, I met some great folk there. Well that and I have to keep doing grow journals there as advertisers there keep sending me stuff. In the end OG is my online home but I still find uses for RIU.
I made an account to ask āis it readyā got along with a few, and got invited over. I was reluctant ish since RIU was already my first forum, but no complaints here!
Yāall are awesome!!! Super stokedš
Orgasmic!!
Ouch, glad you survived that. Is it ready, how much will I yield, is it time to flush, all topics that bring out the worst of the site. Whenever I see those titles on a thread I just know I am going to need my chest waders to get through all the bullshit people are dumping there. RIU was also my first forum so I just didnāt know better places existed. Glad I found my way here. Itās not really the site, but more the people that make OG better IMO. Well that and the staff, I know folks will always complain about those who moderate a place but I have to say the staff here really do an amazing job at keeping the fuckery to a minimum. I am grateful for them.
Haha. I at least had good reason why I thought it might be. It was pretty damn close for my first plant, about 2 weeks off.
Most do, we research and try to grow as best we can. Those titles I mention are all totally valid questions, the only thing not valid are the morons who attack folks for asking. People ask because they want to know and learn. Here you will get proper answers, there you will get insults and stupidity most of the time. I have never seen anyone here attacked for having a bad grow, nor should they be, itās just about helping fellow growers. That is what a grow community should be IMO.
For your S-I-Lā¦āIn the Garden of Remembrance, there is a sheltered spot;
Fragrant with the blossom and beauty of the Sweet Forget Me Not.
No flower in the Garden, fairer, brighter ever grew,
Than the one that whispers softly, Iāll remember you.ā
