I started this because I am beyond tired of Instagram. I have been kicked off multiple times for “selling weed”. Today (7/3) I have been permanently removed.
I do NOT sell weed
I show what I do outside in my garden during the summer and indoors during the winter.
I use different products and show the results good and bad. I am not sponsored by any company or brand, but have collaborated with different brands ( I purchased the products myself).
Transition will begin early August in most of the cultivars pictured. Each cultivar has been amended within the past two days.
We use various dry amends pending how each plant is growing.
Being outside, our base is usually neem seed meal and Biolive.
Neem Seed meal is broken down faster than BioLive and helps prevent any bugs from joining forces in my soil.
BioLive has NPK’s and fungi/bacteria that is essential for soil health.
IPM for Veg: Neem Seed Oil with cinnamon bark extract and cinnamon leaf extract. The combination of all three has proven to be the most effective IPM we have ever seen. Ants hate it…no chewing bug can survive it. The spotted lantern flys die in 15-20 secs. It does not effect the pollinators or fire flys in my garden.
Spray in the evening, under the leaves and on stalks. Using both hands to “wash” the plant has worked best for us.
Works against: Aphids, Mites, Ants, Spotted Lantern Fly, Leafhoppers, White Flys, Powdery Mildew.
The bark and the leaf work in different capacities. Cinnamaldehyde and Eugenol both work on preventing or stopping a biotic/abiotic issue listed above.
I posted this in another thread. If you are in CLE area, I have free slips of Sunshine #4 and Purple Empress. They will be held until Sunday evening. Not shipping anything as the temps are too high for survival.
From this day forward, I will never water in the evening for outdoor grow!!!
In Ohio we have varying air quality levels. This means that those particles will be attracted to a wet leaf surface.
Watering at night increases transpiration!!!
Watering in the morning allows for transpiration to happen during the day and leave the ground bone dry at night. It will reduce the amount of water on the leaf in the morning.
What environment does bacteria/mold like: Wet and Dark are the two primary ingredients….
We don’t have an issue now, due to consistent IPM. But….in flower, that can be a SERIOUS issue.
****Note: Speaking from the viewpoint of growing in Northern Ohio. This may not apply to all environments.
They are EATING the sun. One of the few plants that has a very high DLI tolerance. Most of the plants are “tired” by the end of the day. Both of the deathstar’s have zero slump end of day.
Are yours growing like transition is right around the corner ( longer nodal spacing)?
