Hey there @Shotsy6996
I haven’t grown any Deathstar (yet), however I am verrrry interested. There has been some discussion about where the “real”cut can be found.

I had been looking at AKBB’s seeds of his Deathstar BX before I read that it leans on the fruity side.

Deathstar wasn’t my bag, but it’s WILDLY popular here. I’ll get around to growing it eventually.

All of mine smell(ed) like fuel, rubber and asphalt. Its a very distinct aroma.

Edit: and I get like a burnt hair essence also but might just be my strange palette lol

I just ran Shoreline Genetics DeathStar BX…it was pretty funky growing. I got 4 females. 3 are funky old school taste and 1 is the same, only very skunky on top of all that. One of the others is a little less skunky, but skunky.
I’m definitely going to grow it again as I have a bunch more packs and this time I will dial it in better and use all of my good stuff. I run organic soil mixes. I have my generic that I mostly run but I can hop it up either way to make for better runs and she is definitely an eater.
I have pics here somewhere of the grow of the DeathStar bx
Here they are:

In 2011-2012 I was fortunate to run what I was told was deathstar. Golf ball size lime green buds that you could still smell sealed in 3 zip locs, and stuffed in sealed 5 gal bucket. I was young and naive and lost her. WISH I didn’t.

I ran akbb Deathstar bx1 and found nothing similar (in 2 packs). Recently ran 3 diff “deathstar” cuts… still not the one I remember. Been lookin ever since
