Okay I need help. I have a plant that doesn’t like the the sun what in the hell is going on

Okay if this is in the wrong place I’m sorry. My problem is one of my plants doesn’t like the sun light. It’s an outdoor plant but when it reached two feet in the light it wilts bad laying down almost but after I move it it’s back now I have two plants and I will post the pictures when I find out how to but it’s five weeks from seed and other than a problem with nuts in the first two weeks they are ok I guess but how do I finish it if it’s scared of light

Maybe the problem is at the root?
If it is underdeveloped, it cannot absorb enough water, and transpiration is high in the sun

It’s either too bright too hot or root zone issue from over or underwatering… plants like light haha

I might place a white plastic bag over the plant for a few days, while it acclimates to the high intensity light, removing the bag for increasingly longer periods over time… Uncovering for 15 minutes the first day, 30 minutes the second day, an hour the third day… 2 hours the fourth day…
This will maintain a higher humidity level, so the plant doesn’t wither up, and will lower the light level so it can harden off and --hopefully – become better able to handle the blazing sunlight. If it doesn’t grow out of its funk, you will just need to move the plant to, or make, a shadier area to grow that plant.

If that fails to help the plant thrive, I would then consider planting more seeds… some plants just don’t like high light, water, or high nutrient levels, and will be finicky until they are treated the way they want to be treated.

Ok i can only post one pic so for now it the one that is scared of the sun

Ok i don’t know if you guys will be able to see the pic but this is what they look like.i have thousands of pic of my grows over the years that i will post later.but this is my problem now.and thanks for taking the time to help.i will try to give all the info i can on them. Ok this what worries me both are five weeks from seed and have been under 24 hour light my intentions was to veg all winter and put back outside when spring comes.

This is the same plant two hours later in the shade. Now i have grown thousands of plants no exaggeration but never have i had one do this.

Plant looks healthy… Some strains lay down when they are ready to sleep and have had enough light for the day. But they will stand up in the morning to start the day. But when they receive the light they require they will lay down like the pic above… Is there any time of the day the plant stands up like in the mornings ? Cheers @Mickwild

Hay thanks, what i cant figure out is why.they are under 24 hours of light and this only happens in direct sun light and this only started after a flushing because nut lock out plants are recovering. Now only reason I dont kill them and stared over is the way they started first week they out grow the 20 oz cups root bond so i went right to 5 gallons now i have 25 gallon planters for them to go into.but i want to veg all winter.i never had plants show sex at two weeks from seed so I’m thinking super plants great buds if i can get to the flowering stage. And im sorry for dumping on you. But its been a long time off this site and BOG was my weed father i did everything he told me and i had grows that wouldn’t have been possible if not his help.

I will let some of the other guys chime in, but I’m wondering if it’s starting to show sex so it doesn’t want the light more than 12 hours a day …

Thank you for replying. Ok i had a nutrient lock out.so i flushed them and after that this happened.before that they both would be in direct sun light for 10 hours a day.and no problem now the little girl is shy of the sun.i hope it will go back too the way it was.i will post pic once a week of how she is doing.

Hold on is that possible. Like I’m not new to growing i just never had this happen before. And i haven’t grown anything since the pandemic. I lost everything but trying to get back on my feet. So this is my first grow sense. And thank you.

I’ll let a few more guys chime in to see what they think but I think it’s possible. And I definitely have had some strains lay down like that… but they were already sexed and did not want more 12 hrs of light. Cheers @Mickwild BOG is/was a Legend around here RIP !!!

Thanks,ok in the shade its fine but were i keep them on my backporch is sun all day from 6:30 am until 5:45when the sun goes down. I will try what you suggested in one week. For now i keep that one in the back hall off the porch to get air and indirect sun light.

Question. What are the communitys options on removing big fan leaves. Is it a yea or na

I remove them all the time… if I need to get my Rh lower or if I need to expose the lower canopy, I’ll pull a ton of fan leafs  Cheers @Mickwild

Thank you so much. Although I had a nut lockout so i flushed them i didn’t know if i could remove the levees that are burnt and crispy without damaging the plants.

Exactly try to identify the problem … Then remove the worst affected leafs. Then watch the new growth for health  Cherrs @Mickwild
