Ok so I just became a tester for old school chronic and after 36 hours of soaking 100 percent germ rate I can’t wait to see what happens and what I get out of them this is gonna be a fun grow.

The breeder goes by the name old-chool chronic but yes. The white rhino x grandpa of the white widow is a widow he has kept around since 1996 I believe and the Geisel x hellraiser sd. The geisiel is original stock the hellraiser sd is hellraiser og x sour diesel. I’ve been growing his gear for a bit but I’m testing these for him

sounds cool. i’m a big fan of widow. in my rather uncultured home town when ‘dro’ showed up the follow up question was always ‘is it widow’…aka ‘is it good’. it was all widow…all the way down…even if it wasn’t. took a trip to the dam and got sorted out and had some fire widow a few times since. i’m rocking a couple widow bx at the moment. it’s got the oldschool stank to it.

it’s hard to describe, but we had a bud classification called ‘dank’. it’s that. like pungent skunk spinach. i hope it doesn’t mango out at the end. one of them is taking it’s sweet ass time though. i didn’t figure i would get an 11+ week widow.

If I remember correctly I had a widow go almost 15 weeks if it’s a slow builder. If it’s a fast builder you looking closer to the 11 to 13 mark @splinter7 but again i grew it out back back in the 90s so it maybe a bit diff since it is a BX

I guess i always expected it to be a short one. people grew it commercially at some point. were the yields good?
mine is widow bomb. so it’s backcrossed to an indica or maybe afghan.

Hes deff cool as hell @DGCloud I’ve grown out alot of his gear a few years back and just got on his tester team always have had great talks with JR about plants and nothing and everything. @AussieGunjaMan yea I’m glad to be growing his gear again

Called that guy out a couple years ago for lying about strains, claimed he had p91, catpiss, and rks in order to sell seeds. Hopefully he’s come to terms with his lies, he seems to be a nice guy but don’t think he’s been growing too long or knows much regarding old school strains.
From what I’ve grown from home seems pretty ok and the strains he’s been getting have been legit he got caught up with that blue skies Vienna bullshit
