Old Time Moonshine, Apollo 11, and Family Blues project

Wanted to share my current seed project. First I took a small but beautiful DJ short Old Time Moonshine female and pollinated her with a Brothers Grimm Apollo 11 male. Grandmother is DJ Shorts Old Time Moonshine. Mother is Blue Stars Family Blues V3, Father is “Old Time Apollo” (Old Time Moonshine X Apollo11).

Have you run any of your OTM x A11 or your OTA x Family Blues yet? I’ve found some really unique flavors in Apollo 11 crosses and they finish super fast too, so that sounds like a great project!

Cool project! Do you have any pics of your OTM female or a smoke report? I’ve been wanting to look into OTM but never see any reports on it.

Hey thanks, sorry new account and I got put in timeout for too many posts. I’ll try to make longer posts with more info. Yes I’ve grown out everything now except for the new seeds that just sprouted. I’ll attach pics here, but I didn’t get photos of everything, and didn’t take great notes.
The Old Time Moonshine had a very light sweet flora coco earthy smell/flavor. It very much reminded me of the Hershey’s chocolate scented pencils if you’ve ever smelled them. It was a very clean clear calm and pleasant experience, several different looking plants, all small yielders, but very beautiful. I also didn’t have my nutes dialed in so I probably didn’t give her her best chance. This is the Grandmother of the new seeds that just sprouted, Old Time Moonshine - “The resurrection of the Original Old Time Moonshine line! The mother selected from original F5 OTM seeds circa 2004! and coupled with the pollen from the F4 Blueberry Male.”

This is the female version of the Father, (Old Time Moonshine X Apollo 11) or Old Time Apollo - OTA.
This female was strong on the Apollo side, OTM smell was gone, this was a fruity tropical citrus smell. The Father was a different seed, but same parents.

Cool man! I’ve gotten similar smells from DJ’s lines before. Apollo is a great call for a cross with BB - haze types really blend well with it, and help out with yields and growth traits.

So what I ended up doing was taking a clone of my Family blues V3 and put it straight to flower, pollinated her with OTA, and let her go, I didn’t get many seeds and I wasn’t even sure they were ripe, but I tried to germinate one straight after picking it from the node, and it germinated! So I killed her and took her babies, put six seeds straight to germinate and so far 5 have sprouted. I’m calling these seeds “Family Time” My plan is to take all of these genetics, OTM , A11, FBV3 and mix em up with F2’s and then have fun exploring what shows up. I plan to make a ton of extra to give away also. So once these 6 babies get big enough to sex, I’ll know if I can make a new seed run.

Which will be {[Family Blues V3 X (Old Time Moonshine X Apollo 11)] X [Family Blues V3 X (Old Time Moonshine X Apollo 11)] }
or Family Time F2

Found these photos of the father before he flowered. When young he had dark green leave tops and purple leaf undersides, he had dark red purple stem, leaf crinkle and variegation, dark red leaf veins, very strong OTM expression.
