Those things are like stray cats in west Texas. I thought I was real special when I sited some in town. Turns out that the fox figured out a long time ago, that there are many more resources inside of town than in the desert.
They take advantage of pet food bowls, and rodents mostly. Makes sense once you’ve lived in the Permian Basin. They climb trees, too.

Not sure what Motz runs, but the newer High Output t-5 bulbs are 54w.
So, my 4 bulb unit gives off 216w. They really work well as supplemental lights, too, stood up horizontal on the outside of the plants pointing in.
