@HolyAngel, yeah, no problem. I get paid Friday or Monday and can get going. Don’t let me forget!

Thanks @santero! I should have a few more seeds soon! The male and female plants were almost just like each other.

I already found a few seeds here and there outside, lol… That canna pollen is just plain out good at what it does. I could have a few nice interesting crosses. I was originally just going to paint buds on most plants and still will. Only a couple of plants were far enough along to get pollinated.

My flowering girls this summer:

  1. Platinum Valley (Platinum OG x Dosi#9), Baked Beanz, @SamwellBB
  2. Space Monkey, Bodhi
  3. Lavender, preservation of Soma’s by @Heritagefarms
  4. Original Geneva’s Kush (Luke Skywalker x Chem D),
(Jedi Kush(Deathstar x SFV OGk) x KO Kush) x Chem D), Le Rat, Switzerland
  5. Monochrome Rain, (White Skittlez x runtz bx)
  6. Black and Blue Lebanese, @lefthandseeds
  7. Black Leb, @lefthandseeds
  8. Oaxaca, Cryptic Labs?, @Upstate
  9. Mystery volunteer 1*
  10. Mystery vol. 2*
  11. Mystery vol. 3*
  12. Mystery vol. 4*
  13. Mystery vol. 5*

oh yeah, and the 14. Lemon Thai IX, @santero

** = the only two males in my yard last year were Kashmir and Malana. The Kashmir had no terps, smell, or taste. Malana is a terp I’ve never experienced, sweet, thick, creamy, and very exotic. I think my volunteers that smell so good right now (only one atm, but my favorite this year so far) were hit with Malana pollen. They were never out together. Kashmir went off early and I leave them inside the back porch. Malana was next, later, and after I took the Kashmir down.

One of my volunteers is off the hook with strong terps and my favorite in the whole yard so far! It’s also already pollinated with LT, too…

I’m much more excited this year, so far and having fun, although It’s hard to spend enough time with them. I need a woman, and 3 teenage boys. This world is too much for one bloke all by himself, lol. peace

Some of the Malana plants were indescribably delicious. The year before I grew plants from a neighboring Valley called Pulga. They were VERY terpy. Various stem rubs ranging from Dill pickle to floral to Frankincense and the smells were incredible, much as I would imagine Malana would have been had it been able to flower a little bit longer the year I grew it. The high terpene concentration must really add to the Entourage effect because THC in Malana plants is normally 5 to 8% with the potential for a standout plant to be maybe 11%, which is what the old Colombian tested as. Even at 5% to 8% Malana is known to have a bright, joyous, giggly red eye High. Another quality it has are massive resin heads. Got to be something good in all that resin

Howdy Y’all! I got the space deconstructed and reconstructed today and just need to clean up. Ordered the 3X3 from infinity and the light tomorrow. Should be good to go next week.
The Slow & Sweet have their first set of leaves so they got their first taste of MegaCrop tonight. First run in the new tent is Goji OG F2 from the generous and talented @syzygy.

@syzygy is one of those cats that when he talks, you listen. I feel honored and privileged to grow his shit.

Blessings…

Ha, Maybe I’ll post a few pics here on oleskools thread. I have one volunteer that came up right outside my back door, almost right where the one did last year but was male.

This think it must be a Malana x Malana. It’s a beanstalk and about 9-10 feed as it begins flowering, haa. If I have to build an igloo over it to see it finish, it’s gonna be tough, lol…

Oh man, I will love that. I’ve been thinking that I sure thought I would bump up against more weed like 30 years or so ago. It hasn’t been the case so far. I’m doing more kush this time. Tha Lavenders are big and fat. All of the plants in the planter hit that food and with the rain they grew as fast as any weed I’ve grown. Just perfect environment this summer, which isn’t normal.

I have one of his going. It’s filling in nicely considering how late I got it going. Hey you definitely seem to have a little more pep in your step lately. Nothing like a nice easy run and lots of buds to harvest! I’m getting a little more stoked, too.

Mystery volunteer. Malana?

I’ll measure it. It’s a little bigger now and flowering. This was a few days back. It finally dried out so I got my weeds mowed and still have to weed eat and then start all over.

These are the 2 Lavender. They’re starting to flower. Check out the inside fan leaves on the last 2 or 3. It’s wild how fast they grew.

You are correct sir! Growing is so relaxing when you don’t have to constantly fight Ma Nature. She always wins! I also got my meds tweaked. Doc put me on Remeron in addition to the Effexor. The shit did the trick man. I had been in Funkville for about 90 days. Got so bad I couldn’t get motivated to get up or off the couch even if it was on fire! Now I’m ready to get shit done when I get up. Much improved positivity and appetite. I had stopped eating cause it was just too much fucking trouble. Lol
I got down to 129 pounds! Anyway, now I’m full of piss and vinegar and back on the Barbecue!
Sounds like you have a hella variety goin’ on. Yes you need a gaggle of Nicaraguan helpers fo sho. I got the second tent space ready. Cut vent holes etc. I ordered the tent today and order the light tomorrow. Ms oleskool got her meds tweaked too. We are just running around the house naked and giggling all day. She’s letting me spend money for the tent and light. Thank goodness for pharmacuticals!

Alright bro. Making me laugh my butt off again.

Speaking of Misterbee, He wanted me to tell you that he’ll be in touch soon. He said he had a new Baked Beanz shipment on the way and said he may need help, lol… peace

WHAAAAT??? Snacks, who sed dat? When this World Wide Heat Wave dissipates, @SamwellBB is slated to release a Tsunami/Cyclone/Hurricane of Baked Beanz in my direction. You can best believe a share will be headed to BOTH Tex and Colorado. I think it will be cool enough then in THE SHED to do an Inside Grow. I can’t wait, I tell ya. As always, SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:  :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It looks like one for sure. It has a little more side branching than what I saw, likely due to the extra room. Really neat to stand under those Beanstalk plants😁

Good morning to you @misterbee! Sadly I am abandoning the old Shitkicker Grow Palace and Observatory. The weather has become too severe. Colder winters and hotter summers than I can remember. I’ve moved indoors to two smaller tents. A 2X4 and a 3X3. It’s soooo nice being indoors where I have climate control. I hope this finds you well and as high as a lab rat! Have a great day my friend.

Blessings…

I 'magin it’s certainly more controllable inside, considering the brutal extremes there of late. Good for you, less taxing on the ole/“old” body!! Everyone in the ole Beehive are well, THANKS, Bro. Gonna have Breakfast and get right back in the fight. May ALL in your Circle SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:  :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It sprouted in March or April and survived lots of light freezes and one hard one. I have only given it food a time or two. I’ll start giving it flower food since it made it this far.

I’m convinced from the last two or three years of watching volunteers that it would be beneficial to put seeds outdoors in the middle of winter or late fall.

There is a local guy I met here a couple of years ago, and he says he puts his seeds out in March. I think I may see if I can do a planned germination like that the next season. Maybe put out females to seal the deal.

The plants seem to be much stronger and less affected by stresses. I just looked, and April 1st is the first day I took a pic of my favorite volunteer. That’s a full month, and then some, from our official last chance of frost around May 7.

I’ll get more pics of the forest soon. I gotta get rolling atm. peace

Don’t wanna be the “bearer of bad news”, BUT, smarter people than myself (there’s PLENTY of them!!) predict a heck of a Winter!! I’m talking early Snow, more severe storms, and higher accumulations of Snow, with temps down to 30 BELOW!! Looks like the “Tex Grid” will be tested AGAIN. I ain’t ready to go through this crap again, something about a "“Triple El Nino”. If I was ever hoping “they” are wrong, it’s now. Oh my god no! The sad fact is Abbott and the boys have done little to nothing to prevent another “Great Texas Freeze Out”! I’m tempted to get a good propane heater and a full tank of gas just in case. That shit was frightening. I’ll never forget looking down the street and seeing families in their cars with motors running, the exhaust wafting into the frozen air. Erribody tryin’ to get warm. Not again! I’m too old for that drama!

Better to be prepared than freeze . Nothing worst that a 2 day power outage in -30 weather.
