I know you always mean well bro. Sometimes we have a slight language barrier happening. The “maybe a little” was a joke. Not many plants will thrive in 100f temperatures so its not the plants fault

Crazy about the heat there. I was just talking to a friend of mine who lives in Austin earlier today, she was saying the same thing. Said,”Yeah, it’s noon, I just took the dogs for their last walk. I’m not going outside again today.” That’s no good. I’ve been sitting outside fucking around all day today haha! That won’t last, though, supposed to 100 on Friday…

I don’t understand this weather at all anymore. We’ve barely cracked 90 so far this spring. Mostly mid 80’s. It’s been mostly windy and dry, with very little rain. it’s 51º right now, at 6am, and only getting to 79 today, and 75 tomorrow. It’s been downright comfortable mostly, so far.
Looks like we only get as high as 88 a couple of days out of the next 10. Buuuuut, as we all know, that can change in a minute. Hope you get a break soon.
I’m gonna pot some stuff today for outside. I’m off to a slow start but, it’s about to get crazy.

This shit is insane! I’m sure you experienced it in Midland. I walk out my front and it takes your breath away! If I don’t find more dead plants when I open the tents at 7:30 I’ll be shocked. The tent that plants are dying in has an old exhaust fan I got in 2018. I’m ordering a new AC Infinity 6” today. This will help. Duh!

Yeah, but that’s in Long Beach, isn’t it? Believe me when I say that the weather in the Valley is much, much different than the weather in Long Beach.
Not to mention, our AC’s on the fritz again, started yesterday, third year in a row I’m gonna have to drop at least a grand to get this shit straightened out for the summer. And it’s a relatively new unit! Between my plants looking like they have a little pest damage going on and the AC flooding water all over the place since yesterday, I really am thinking I might shut it down for a few months. I dunno.
Sorry to be bitching so much lately. I’ve just been feeling really bitchy lately haha…

Seems like I remember you having AC issues last year. When I married Ms oleskool we were near Escondido. San Marcos actually. The weather was phenomenal! They didn’t have air conditioning. Didn’t need it. Paradise! We would move there if it wasn’t so expensive to live there. In a minute!

Yeah, I never had AC anywhere I’ve ever lived until I moved to the Valley. The LA basin is fine, never really needed it there (although I do remember an insanely hot few days when I lived in K-Town, so hot I couldn’t sleep). There’s just no way you could survive without AC out here, though, it gets fucking crazy hot in August/September. I’m really glad we have a pool, too haha.
