it’s perfect, was just kidding, it’s the exact same model as the video but it’s got character “patina” it’s better!! I wonder about the thermodynamics of buying the ice and running the fan, wouldn’t electric AC be cheaper? Someone has to run the freezer to make the ice
Now that’s very interesting. I could reduce wattage in the heat of the day on the HPS flower tents. Hmmmm.
It all involves my presence during lights on every day till October! Hell, I have nothing else to do! Nowhere to be and all day to get there! Changing timers to 7pm to 7am to have lights on after dark.
What if you placed the swamp cooler inside a Kalgoorlie safe? Use the humidity to keep the cooler cooler, so to say. As long as your sparky bits are waterproof it might help a little?
I have a few ideas for cooling while we are in think tank mode.
Spraying down the sides of the shed hourly will cool the shed down from the water in the first instance then evaporation in the second.
Removing the fan on the cooler and let your exhaust fan do the work it is already doing and pull through the esky into the tent, that way there isn’t the added heat of another fan running.
Slowly release carbon dioxide into the intake, as it expands it has an awesome cooling effect and as a bonus plants do better with more Co2 and take the heat better too.
Hessian or burlap in the sides of the esky to pull up the cool water from the melted ice and evaporate it (more cooling effect) as the air flows through.
Stay cool
Thanks Primo! Great ideas and I’ll try all of them. This community is fantastic. I posted and have gotten ideas that are creative and set me up for success. I don’t know how I ever grew without…
.
Yeah, @Pedro_Bann, those are awesome solutions. I love that terracotta AC! Oleskool can do that.
@oleskool830, I love your Texas memes!! They are so spot on… people just don’t know…That rain gauge says it all! lol
Alabama is that way, they love laughing at themselves… I still do! I’m glad I was raised that way!
Hey OG Fam! My Son Adam is here from Cali for a spell. It is great to have the help in the Shitkicker Shed. Those 3 gal pots get heavy! All 22 of them! He’s been growing on his own for a couple of years and unfortunately had a little “tussle” with Alcohol. It makes my heart smile to have him here and no drink for 2 weeks now. I just gonna keep him out in that hot ole shed till he sweats it out! Lol!
Well done Adam. I’ve fought the alcohol demon myself in the past. Feeling normal no longer felt normal if that make sense. Toke up. Our plants cost less on both our pockets and our health
I saw this in a Walmart ad on my FB feed today. Someone has made a hair iron with a durable case for standing up to pressure. I think it was about $47. I swear that Facebook spies on everything I do or talk about.
*Clamp sold separately.
I think I’ll give this one a try @ganjajuana. I’m just squishing for Ms oleskool and I. Don’t need much. Thanks for that!
All love and gratitude to my good friend @ReikoX
for the ZAMDELICA! It puts wings on my feet!
That was the best little piece of candy I’ve ever had!
Man, do you remember how cool all of that old art and comics were back in the early 70’s? I love seeing you bring them back.
The Keep on Trucking dude, and the Fabulous Freak Brothers, black light posters…it was a very visual time then, lol to say the least. It was fun shit.
Thats looks like the trailer queen in nw GA. The locals like worst than fuckin nigeria lol. Gotta love the meth stars! I needed that.
Hey man, just catching up on the thread. If you are doing the Homemade AC, definitely go with the dry ice. A 5lb brick costs about $8 at the grocery store. Just have to go to customer service to ask for it. Pedro hit it with the CO2 bit. CO2 makes a noticible difference in your overall yield. I keep my rooms at work between 1200 and 1500 ppm during lights on, as opposed to the 300-400 ppm ambient levels. The overall yield returns on average 35% more with the CO2. Just keep an eye on them when you add it in, you may need a boost in the CaMg to assist in an increased nutrient uptake.

Did you chop another plant early?! …or take a a trip Westward?
Hahahahaha! No. I just put them in water this morning. Now the trick is to live long enough to see em’ finish. Jah!
Glad they made it to you safe and sound. Hope they sprout and grow, they are getting a few years on them, but have been stored in a fridge with desiccant.
Looks like I may be down near your particular corner of hell soon… working on the date now… either in a day or two of right around the 4th. Wish I could drive on down bro… maybe before too long. I have to go back in the fall and do some building on my partner’s house in Odessa. I want to wait until summer is on the downside at least…
We haven’t been able to get conditioned this year. I’m wearing a long sleeve turtleneck shirt this morning. I may shrivel up down in Hobbs.
