The plants in my HPS tents have now put on the brakes. It’s in the 90s inside the tents and in the shed. They have stopped growing. Going in to week 10 in hps flower tent. Autos finishing in the other HPS tent. The tents with LED are still still growing vigorously. 1 veg 1 flower. This is way too much for the Shitkicker Tent Cooler. Will likely shut down hps tents till October and try and limp through with 1 flwr tent and one 2X3 veg tent.
Damnnnn… I know what your going through. Im 30 feet up and my AC has been running non-stop and Im still biting my nails…
This beautiful plant saves lives. It saved mine.
I’m ready to go home. It was 103 - 107°f every day in SE NM. I finished my project and I’ll be in Texas for a couple of days. Crap, I’m ready to go home. My plants should all look pretty good by the time I get back. Stay cool bro.
Damnit man! That sucks bro. It’s been extremely hot here. Ive already had an a.c. go down on me. Hopefully the heat breaks but it’s not looking good. My tomatoes to a beating for sure. I was thinking of building little shadey leantoo’ s. It’s too little way too late. Hope you and the Mrs. are doing well.
I suffer from sever depression and anxiety. I made a little cubby hole for autos and small photo’s. Gardening in general keeps my mind in a good zone. The plants presence is an intoxicating beauty in of itself. It deffinitely makes it better to be amongst the green ladies. . I hope your mind eases up. Some days I unlocked the hammer and put it up. In the depths of my addiction I couldn’t do it. Life is sad but beautiful.
Got to see my Father for a few days. Good reconnection. Stay cool my brotha. Be safe.

Well said my brother, indeed it is.
Great news about your visit. I was a little nervous for you as my relationship with my father was complicated. Love/Hate/Judgement/Abandonment etc. it’s all good.
I made the command decision to go home. My truck is pointing north. I’m waiting on road construction. I was supposed to stay two more days for a friend but can’t take it anymore. 102-103 forecast for 8 days straight
Welcome to my world bro. Much to my surprise the girls were ok last nite. 90 in the tent at 9pm! One out of 19 showed distress. Glad your headed north and hopefully headed for some relief from this hell hole!
Be Safe Brother
From experience they will push you beyond a 100 hours if you are in the right field. To your own detriment. Until you are upside down in a ditch you are making money so it’s go go go.
Sold my gauges with shut off valves…guy bought them was on the company I left. He reported being upside down in a ditch after 90+ hours one week. At that point your mind isn’t right anyway and you cannot think as well.
7 days in a row over 100? yikes. OK, I"m never complaining about hot weather here again. I was just bitching about it being 75 and humid yesterday…
I just came in. It is brutal! The good news is its cooler inside the shed than outside. I had the shitkicker Tent Cooler inserted through a duct hole on my flower tent. I have discovered that if I place the duct just outside the rectangle vent along the bottom, some of the cool air is drawn into the tent and some escapes into the shed. Works mo betta that way. It’s a daily battle my friend and often very discouraging. Onward my man!
That’s why I. Terrified of putting out dense indica outdoors…youll have a fight all season long…
I made it. It was pretty hot when I got here but cloudy now and 83. Good news is tomorrow’s high is 87 with a good chance of rain storms and 59 for the low… ahhhhh, I’m home.
Ever notice how some people just aren’t plant people? My plants were very disappointing looking to me. My pick to watch my plants, barely watered for the two weeks I was gone. I have my plants set to grow well with what they have in the soil but they have to stay moist in order for the microbes to break down the minerals. I use Roots Organics dry nutrients and compost type stuff with emphasis on the microbes to do the work so the roots can get what they need.
All of my plants are almost the exact same height as when I left. And, I up potted most of them and freshened up everything before I left. Some were leaning over when I got here… grrrr.
At least I got back in time. I think he forgot to feed my worms, too. At least all plants are alive but they don’t look like mine anymore. I have a killer line up though, so, they’ll be worth babying back to health.
Better find some water, @Oleskool! It’s going to be a brutal week down there.
At three o’clock with temps of 100+ I’m hauling buckets of water, frozen water bottles and dry ice out to the shed. Sweat band in place. Nothing on but shorts. NoTime For Old Men!
