Interesting facts about thrips. There are approximately 6000 different thrips species. The singular of thrips is thrips. They are also called thunder bugs because they tend to come inside during thunder storms. And since you like memes, here is one I use all the time. In the photo you see a thrips, the rasping damage, and their excrement.

The Captain Jack’s is systemic. It will treat the plants for about seven days before you need to spray again.
This week has been a tough one. Had an unfortunate encounter with an angry skinhead in my front yard, brother in law admitted to the hospital with Covid Pneumonia, I had a deal that would bring in a little extra income. Not much but it potentially provided enough wiggle room that I bought a car I found. Got one payment and the deal fell through. So add some financial strife. Now…I have thrips.
Sometimes it’s hard out here. There are times that I feel like an insignificant, pathetic, irrelevant old fool. I need to self assess and learn my new inadequacies.

Sounds like a Tuesday to me. 
I thought I was the only one with luck like that. I did have an encounter with an angry (is there anything else?) skinhead in a bar and grill one afternoon not long ago. He knew my views on things and baited me into the automatic rifle debacle. I guess I used the word Fuck, too much. The owner was there with his wife and two kids eating and he made a scene, too. I hailed the bartender for my check, paid her, and have never been back in the place since. I don’t have time for fools.
Feeling fine today except for my usual problems, lol. I’m waiting to hear from my doc about whether or not I can ditch that Statin drug. I don’t want it. Gonna get my mail together in a minute. Cutoff is 3:30 here. Should see it Sat if lucky.
Hope the “little things” pile starts to slow down. You have to be a juggler these days in regards to everything. My liitle bug siting may have been thrips as well. Funny thing is there were never any adults(?) or bugs moving around. I’ve never seen it before. I’ll go out and check them today since it rained the last two evenings. Hopefully they wil all be clean again.
But, I’ll need to spray right away since flowering is coming. I need to hit any residuals now. Some of these plants may require coming inside in late fall, as well.
I hope you get yours under control. I’ve been pretty lucky so far. Knock on wood.
