Oleskool’s Summer ‘21 SKGS

Just came in from the Shitkicker Shed where it’s hotter than 700 hells! The weather app says temp is 96 but “feels like” 100. I don’t even know what that means. I do know that I’m drenched and it’s just HOT. The plants in the Wu Tang Tent don’t look good. I guess from the thrips. Sparse and weak. Gave them a big feed but buds are underdeveloped. So discouraging. So depressing. Im just going to limp onward thru the fog and to the harvest. I’ve put sticky traps everywhere and will be spraying with a mild soap solution and some Neem every 3 or 4 days. I was going to take them outside and wash them down with the hose but my neighbors decided to have a barbecue. People all over the place. Hose off postponed. Anyway, the Sour Bubble seem to be doing ok. Took off the big fan leaves. Should have done it a week ago. The SB tent definitely looks better. No pics. Nothin to see here. I’m going to transplant the seedlings to the 1 gal pots for some veg time. I’m already looking forward to the Franco’s Lemon Cheese. Y’all Take Care.

Blessings…

Those sour bubble are bombproof. BOG must have loved his lines high heaven. I had a beanpole that I was sure was a male because it shot up like a rocket as a seedling. It was winter so I figure put him by the window and decide later.

Well, after no feeding really that I can remember it lumbered along all winter and I finally took it outside for the summer and get it fed and looking better. Well, it was a female all of this time. It never showed sex and I assumed it was male from the structure.

It’s still in a one gal pot almost a year later and greened up more now and starting to flower. Bombproof I say! i hope to keep it possibly. I’ll probably hit her with some Kashmir pollen or something else I have. Oh, I did finally put her in a 3 gal felt pot last week, my bad. She never complained about a thing all of that time. I was waiting on the male to come out and I’d look at it, and probably kill it. Maybe keep a clone of any of those Sour Bubble. Not often that you run into such stable plants.

Were your’s from Pedro_Bann? Mine are.

Damn, I never stay up this late… but the day wouldn’t stop… zzzzzzz

Howdy Buckaroos and Buckarettes! Nice day here. Low 90s lots of sunshine and breezy. The plants are looking better. The Sour Bubble is powering through better than the other tent. The Willie Nelson looks puny. Seems quite nute sensitive and doesn’t like the heat. I cut back on nutes as leaf tips were getting too burned. She is sparse with teeny tiny buds forming on skinny stalks. I gave her some recharge yesterday. We’ll see tomorrow. The Meat Breath is just weird looking. I’m anxious to see how they finish. One has 3 finger leaves all over and the other is more normal structure. I didn’t know what to expect on this one. The Romulan is doing well and never complains. I had to bend a couple of tops over
to keep them out of the light fixture. The MSS wasn’t looking right to me and after checking again, they were crossed with Apollo 11. We’ll see on those too. Why anyone would do that cross is beyond me.
The Sour Bubble are the All Stars this run so far. I’m annoyed with all the different strains lately. Gonna do 1 strain per tent going forward. We still have a few weeks before it cools off. Next run should be a breeze. OK Pics next time. They’re not as ugly as they were 2 weeks ago. Fuck a thrips! I had to vacuum the thrip carcasses off the tent floor. Inflicted major casualties on the enemy. Watching them closely. Up potting seedlings tomorrow to 1 gal pots. That’s enough about me and my hot ole Shitkicker Grow Shed. Let’s talk about you!

Sounds like you had a great day @oleskool830! :grinning:

Looking forward to the pics, hope those thrips didn’t cause too much damage  can’t be much worse than the abuse I put mine through

Yay! now that summer is almost over I found those Crater Lake seeds. I got 3 seeds about to go swimming I think.

You know where I found them? In a box of seeds that I had already tried to organize. No wonder it’s the last place I looked.

I really don’t remember that. I thought I had them out early in the year to run… must have been a good dream. :upside_down_face:

Howdy all! I’ve been slammed with some “male issues” that have rendered me home bound and useless. I had to feed and spray my plants tonight and I dreaded going out there all day. THEN…

I got mail! A pkg of empathy and righteousness from one of my favorite human beings. @misterbee sent me a CARE Package of some product to combat my thrips invaders. This stuff sounds like an outstanding solution. You can spray all the way through harvest if needed. I was able to spray all of my plants tonight. It’s super easy to mix and use. Even has a somewhat pleasant or at least not offensive smell. Check it out.

So the plants have had one treatment of Captain Jacks Dead Bug Brew. One rinse with plain water and the spray tonight with Sierra Ntl Science product. The first time was an effective knock down punch and this one tonight should take care of any stragglers or younguns that remain. It was @misterbee that got me up and out to the Shed today. I’m feeling like hammered bat shit but the kindness and generosity of this cat will lift you up.

It just don’t get no better than a Bee!

Blessings…

GOOD!! I figured it would be best NOT to reveal the contents. This way, that package could do that Texas Two Step right to your door, grab you by the hand, and get you back on the Dance Floor!! Super glad you got on 'em right away. It’ll take care of stragglers, pupa, or eggs. A couple of applications and all is well. Stay on top of 'em, Bro. Enjoy the weekend, SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:

Does this look like Sour Bubble to you sir?

Only one I got in a whole 14 pack from Hugh Glass, rest didn’t even put out a tap root in 3+ weeks.

Hope that new stuff knocks out those bugs quick and you can get some nice flowers soon

That could be a SB. They start out with large fan leaves. I had one female shoot straight up and I assumed it was a male all along. I let it sit next to a window since last fall, and it never even showed sex until this summer. So, I repotted it and have it flowering now. So, it seems to be a trait, as BOG showed one he was working with that was real tall without much for limbs. The other one grew more normal structure.

Hope it turns out to be a SB. If it’s BOG’s it should be bombproof and his work on it shows. They’re hearty plants.

Yes it does. It’s hard to tell at that size to be honest. It sure looks like it though. Look for huge fan leaves and perfect structure. I got mine from our favorite Aussie @Pedro_Bann. No germination problem with these. That plant must be “the one.” Could be a beast.
I think my thrips are gone thanks to @misterbee and some luck.

Blessings…
