Omega Garden!

Who remembers the insane design of the Omega garden from early 2000s?? Picture is not mine, but attached is what it was.

My thoughts were always ‘if the plant grows more than 3 ft, they are absolutely fucked’

LOL. Not only that, that’s a HPS, this was before the LEDs tookover.

There used to be rumours that purple kush filled in the machine about 170 units could get 8 lbs off 2 lights c02 think you needed 20 grams a plant . We never got anywhere near that think the best was almost 5 lbs lol 3 pounds of lumber my pops used to say

Me too! I guarantee you this thing caused a ton of early harvests :joy: (and probably prompted a few smoke alarms going off :hushed:)

I think with LEDs we might have a million dollar idea on our hands folks, with a few modifications. This could definitely appeal to people with limited space

I made something a few years ago that I use with autos that helps them fill out nicely.

If I were to make another one at some point or re-do that one I will space out the light string with like an inch between each row. It works really well like it is but I suspect it could do a little better.

Not sure if you’ll find that exact item for sale but anything similar will work just fine. For guys growing photo plants I think one would really help train young plants to grow towards the side light, spread it out and open. Would that be like 4,000k for vegging?

I honestly dont know the k stuff or lumens

For veg you want to be in the 6000 ballpark, for flower between 2500 and 3500

I bet they sell different colors. LED light ropes

The ones I bought are a bright white similar to the overhead LED light.
