I used my tried and true Coast of Maine seed starter mix … I’ve never had a nute deficiency this early with this mix ? Whaddya think ? The others look great …
Start giving it some ferts? I had one that needed it by day 16 from sprout (different strain)
That’s what I was thinking . Doesn’t look like an N deficiency though …
Try a light feeding and see what happens? Unless someone smarter comes along, in that case ignore me lol
It’s ok to chuck a plant if they whine too much about nothing. We have perpetuated some finicky traits in modern cannabis by saving every complaining plant. My vote is to do your future-self a favour and kill that stupid thing
I got gifted these . I’m scared to use them lol … It’s like 0.6 milligrams per gallon . A half a gram … I may just hit up my neighbor for a shot of Earth Juice … I’m just a little freaked out … I’ve never had a nutrient deficiency in veg lol …
Even the packaging looks extreme lol.
Those nutes are Aptus btw . Some fancy shizz I guess … All organic lab grade shite … It’s supposed to be the bomb … I just watered them … I’ll wait 2 days and give it a diluted shot of nutes and we’ll see …
Looks like a magnesium deficiency. Never had that happen in early veg .
I thought maybe magnesium too but that usually starts in the middle of the leaves not the ridges. It almost looks overfed to me because it’s so dark, I’d probably give it a few days to see what it does then blast it with something if needed.
That appears to be the start of a potassium deficiency. K deficiencies start yellowing (called chlorosis) on the edges of older leaves.
Its good that you caught it so early… it can be fixed easily before it gets any worse and cause other nutrient issues. Good eye bro!
A nitrogen deficiency looks similar, however, the yellowing will be more uniform across the leaf surface, not just the edges.
A calcium deficiency affects new growth first.
A magnesium deficiency causes yellow mottling between green leaf veins giving leaves a marbled look.
It’s looking better today . I’m holding off on feeding and watering until they’re almost dried out …
New growth doesn’t have any signs of deficiency on that plant … Just gave them a feeding … They’re looking good …
Thought I’d tell y’all that Aptus nutrient line is amazing … They’ve exploded three days after their first feeding …
Aptus makes great nutes… they’re just a little too spendy for most hobbyist growers.
