They are sunflowers. I’m trying to grow a little natural wind block but the same wind is trying to knock them down. I’m hoping I’ll be able leave the cover off the hoop house on that side for more sun an heat relief. I’ve also got some mixed companion flowers/herbs around an in the main bed
I’ve been hitting them once a week with my agrothrive. Seem to be doing good on it for now

oh man, that looks stunning! i can’t wait to see how that purple stemmed sunflower grows out. it’s nice seeing the other angle of your outdoor bed as well. gives us a peek at more of your greenery and garden. i’m outta likes, so i’m sending virtual likes!

Got the lights @ColeLennon recommended! I only hung them last night but the plants seem to be reacting well. The light levels seem higher. The only thing I don’t like is they didn’t come with yoyo hangers. On the plus I even found a use for the tripod that came with them lol

I didn’t flip them yet. I’m going to give them one more hit of the new fert this week an flip them the next. I’m excited

Depends on the genetics, some strains it’s really prevalent, others - not at all.

You better flip those to 12/12, you don’t have a lot of watts there. When they are done stretching adjust all those lights to about a 12" -16 inches from the canopy. Good Job its gonna be a Jungle

Got the correct cover for my hoop house. I went with a 50% block, kinda wish it was a little darker but it’ll work. Tied it all on so I can remove it easily if I need to

Brought some cheetah style back lol
My tent is taking off since adding the new lights, all kinds of new growth. Noticed some abnormal growth I’m unsure about, one looks whorled I think that’s the correct term an another has light green growth. The whorled one maybe from a bad topping?

The “whorled” one looks like it may be growth after a Top or FIM…
The leaves in question are lower that many other tops in your grow that look great so it is not caused by the lights being to low.
You can also see a few of the leaf tips of the largest “whorled” leaves have a few of the tips cut off from the Top/FIM.
the carnivorous plant in the middle of it all…
