same shit going on here you can’t run for the hills you can’t see thru the smoke
Looks like it’s supposed to clear up hopefully by Sunday. I’m planning on giving the plants a complete shower when it passes. I noticed a bunch of ash on them today. We don’t get much rain but it certainly does rain ash a lot
I just shook mine real good at the base get them vibrating up the bush do this a few times. I didn’t bother hosing them off. When it rains this month even a little will clean them. I’m not going to add more water on them by using a hose and then get rain even a little.
Those are gorgeous…what strain is that Heather?
That’s a black creme by @Nagel420. It unleashed my desire to find more colorful strains to grow lol
I can see why…beautiful plant. Well done @Heather420 and @Nagel420.
Cleaned up these three today to help light penetrate. I think they mostly stopped stretching. Learning to super crop definitely helped keep them under control
We created a monster!
I expect pounds in the mail soon!
Smoke report please! Aloha to your dad/ohana
And bravo @Nagel420 — very pretty
Ugh we avoided covid this whole pandemic an out of nowhere we all got it need some healing vibes please!!
I’ve been keeping a close eye on dad as he’s been the sickest. We were hoping everybody felt yucky from the smoke but no luck
I guess we’ll all get it eventually. I’ve avoided it so far, somehow. Hopefully you and your dad pull through good as new! Take care.
He’s a stubborn old man an hasn’t been wearing his mask like he’s supposed to lol I’m almost positive he’s the one who brought it home
I’m just happy to have gotten this variant. If I feel this yucky I can’t imagine the first strain of it. My biggest symptom has been a unbelievably bad headache an some throat tightness. Poor pops unfortunately ended up with bad watery shits, poor guy :dash:
My advice is eat extra & extra healthy, sleep, stay hydrated, get what exercise you can & only go to the hospital if it’s 100% necessary— those places are full of sick people
like some Internet forums
Yes…if we’re going to get it thankfully it isn’t the first varient.
Did I set this up correctly? Blowing air out of the tent. I have it running on high an my tent has been a pretty steady 77. If I wanted to have it set up outside of my tent, how do I do that?
With this set up what vents should I have open? My tent has two on the side that I currently have open an one bigger vent on the back that’s closed
I know my wiring is crazy, for the life of me I can’t figure out how to get it neater
I have and extension cord hanging over the top of my tent on the outside and feed all my cords out of the little hole in the top other than that it looks like itll do the job
hey there - an option to take the fans outside is to put a think plank of wood on top of the tent, you leave the filter inside, and you sit the fan on the wood outside the tent - but as you have it now is all good - filter–>fan—>ducting
I’ve put the fan / filter outside on 2x2 tents. Its easy to do!
First, set the carbon filter on the floor / a table near your tent. Orient it upright so that the duct hole faces up. Now take your fan, and put it RIGHT on top of the filter, blowing INTO the filter. Tape that connection with duct tape and a clamp if ya got it.On the other end of the fan (intake end), connect / tape, and run a duct up to one of the top holes in your tent, to draw air from the highest point of the tent. Open the vent holes on the bottom of your tent on the opposite side.
77F isn’t too hot, but you still want air exchange for fresh air for the plants.
I took everybody’s advice into mind an ended up with this. It’s clean looking making it happen while having covid probably wasn’t my best idea, it was so exhausting lol Got to see how well it controls the temperature now but I’m happy with the results
So cool to see you took the fan/filter and situated them outside the tent. Nice move! If I could make a suggestion, cut your ducting so that you have the cleanest angles possible. The more bends and turns your ducting has, the harder it’s going to work your fan. Ideally you want just the 90 from the tent’s outlet, then you go straight down into the fan. Yours has like a bend in it where you have extra slack. You’ll find that the less restricted the air flow is, lower speeds will still move enough air out of your tent.
Either way this setup is much easier to work with your plants. You’ll find that the vertical space is much appreciated when you run into a tall pheno in one of your strains. If you need to upgrade lighting, or do anything now you have room! No pesky fan to bump your head into a million times (been there done that ).
Hope you’re recovering from covid well! May the recovery be swift and complete.
