This the aloha line? I thought i read somewhere that there was bubblegum hiding in it as well I could be wrong I know the classic story is it’s meant to be a snip stolen from GHS in Adam but I doubt that bit there old seedstock more likely or a older cross maybe who knows

If you were to start from scratch and create a Hawaiian strain, what would you cross? I’m a big fan of those S.E.A. crosses also, I might have to start a project in the near future to create some more Hawaiian/Thai or Lao crosses. I’ve heard of Maui Cherry Bomb while researching in OG threads, is it rare?

Sorry, it was crossed to pineapple ghost which is half pineapple surfer.
@Conor_c yes, molokai frost. I am not sure if there is a pure molokai. that was the leper island I think, but I heard there was an original before it was crossed to the g13 or hp or whatever.

I’m going to start a Hawaiian project this spring. What should be the main staples or strains I should use either to improve (if possible) or to preserve. The more information y’all share, the more I want to know.

Thai/Viet/Laos and Afghan 100%, personally I’ve always wanted to do an African or PNG to Afghan or Malana and then grow it out to try and naturalize it. I’d also say that any Central or South American to an Asian indica type would do it.

Also you shouldn’t call it a Hawaiian project if you’re not Hawaiian and if it isn’t being grown in Hawai’i, you could say it’s an homage or a redux. I’ll send you some Kona or maybe @ChrisOC can

presumably the island one. i had a few fems IX from the same guy who had the kauai electric plant. I gave the to a guy here but never saw what happened to them.

Got it!!! I’ll figure out a different name for the project still giving respect to the islands though (definitely a homage). I plan on going to college out there if all goes well. Big Blessings, would love to have Kona in my collection. I’m pretty sure that I’ll cross it with a Malawi male or Mexican plant if God blesses me to find a pure Mexi. PBUY and @ChrisOC

Is Pua Mana 'Ohana recommended for real Maui (from the island as you speak of)? I’m looking for that original Maui as well, or what made it so I can produce that real chill spiritual high it gave me when I was 18. I literally reminisce about those few joints I smoked of it in SB, one of the best tasting ganjas I’ve ever had.

If you want what you remember then I think you’re best choosing BOEL lineage “Hawaiian heirlooms” or maybe even Hyp3rids or Gold Coast would be closer to what you want.

Peace Be Upon You. Is Maui Cherry Bomb one of those mythical strains in the dark, I keep hearing about it? Are there not that many Thai/Lao leaning Hawaiian strains or phenos? Where could one find the “Original” Aloha WW, that’s one of the main Hawaiian strains I’m looking for. It would get my dad off my back about growing WW and cross off an heirloom for me.
