That’s certainly possible, but I’d be really surprised if he just decided to screw you over. I never got any indication that Nick was that kind of guy. He posted my last order on 3/10/2020, and they never showed. SA’s postal service wasn’t great anyway, and with Covid, I just wrote them off. One day last Sept, I went down to get the mail, and there they were. Also, I wouldn’t write off the Benjamin. I sent him those seeds in June 2019, and just got them back a couple of days ago.
I’m more worried that something has happened to him. Covid was raging hard there, and even before that, I don’t think SA is what an American would call “safe”. Before Covid hit, they were having raids on pot farms by armed gangs that had left people dead.
I’ve got all three of those strains. In fact, I just dropped 11 of the Swazi yesterday. I’ve never run a landrace sativa before, so I’m not sure how that’ll turn out.

Hey I hear ya!!! At this point I pretty much left the wishing of these beans arriving up in smoke.
A friend from Canada also ordered and never got anything, that’s that she ordered before me.
I had no idea situations was like that in SA and hopefully Nick wasn’t a victim of some BS. Guess this shows my character huh, never received nothing and still hoping he well

If this is day 54- I’m hoping I’m in for a good surprise with the flowers.
The smell of the plant has taken an interesting turn!! The new tire rubber smell with bubble gum is only on the stem rub and the bubble gum smell mostly took over.
I squeezed a smaller bud and to my surprise the bud had a chemical Skunky Smell up front with something else I cant quite put my finger on
Just finished up week 9 (day 63)
Looking like a 11-13 week plant
Smell is getting stronger and it’s just like hair perm smell with strong skunk notes. Next watering will include wild purslane FPJ.

I’ll tell ya what, this plant is a very finicky plant to keep happy. Leaves start pointing up and down on one leaflet.
The cloned top for some reason is only having vigorous growth on one side of the stem. Other side has very short branches comparatively speaking. The plant is rotated every other day 180* Here’s a pic of the clone…
soon In the next couple or so days I’ll be cloning the top and start LST’ing the plant for next run in the flower tent.
So on Aug 7 I experienced my grow light shutting down into a very low power state. The light had some sort of malfunction and I was pissed. I immediately opened the tent and turned on my room lights while I scrambled to get a spare going.
Long story short I’m starting to now notice male flowers and I’m like 4 days away from completing the grow but the buds look acceptable under the scope. Mix of cloudy and clear.
Should I just chop?? I’m guessing male pollen is a bummer to smoke but the overall amount I see is sparse.
What you guys think I should do?? First time experiencing this sort of situation.

Ps not all my plants showed hermaphroditism (so far🤞) just two out of 7 so far.
The males flowers shouldn’t cause any real issues or seeds this late. If they look good, just chop them. Clean your area real well with soapy water. And you should be good to go.
This wraps up my OSs 96 grow. Definitely not grown to her potential. As a newbie I’m pleasantly surprised this plant Finished as she did.
I think it’s time for indicas now. All these sativa grows have taught a lot and need a break from the super long flowering times.
But here’s a few pics until cure ready.
Now for a couple days darkness and then chop making it an official 12 weeks. 84 days. Lots of milky trichomes and hints of clear ones. Also hints of amber trichomes as well. Hoping for a speedy high!

Ok it’s only day 3 of cure but curiosity and impatience got the best of me.
I pinched a small amount, enough for a bowl.
Taste is not the greatest!!!

But so far effects are obvious. First thing I noticed was a quick bout of the sweats and then feeling warm in the head. Very cerebral experience so far. I estimate that a joint of this will get you lit!! Feels old school for sure. Auditory enhancement is noticeable as I suddenly hear my fan on in my tent which usually I’m used to it being a background noise. Energy present in a small dose, doing my laundry and overall feeling of wanting to do “stuff”.
IMO I feel it would be great for enjoying the outdoors, music, art or other fun or creative endeavors. Hiking outdoors I intend to do after house duties are completed.
Will give a report after 3 week cure. Not touching it anymore. I think the taste was a good deterrent
