Outback Haze #8 x Silk Haze S

Most haze enthusiasts know about Nevil Schoenmakers final haze projects. Outback Haze was said to be the best of them.

He had sent over 40 of this make to his long time friend Dwight Diotte. Dwight carefully selected through them and one of his favorites was the #8.

We had been planning to do a collab for years and finally got to it with some reversed Silk S pollen.

Currently 11 of these are going into flower as of today.

Man, I am really getting a kick out of the arms lended by Dwight’s Outback #8 (NH21 dominance.)

The branches are competing with the top. This is naturally holding an even canopy for the optimal light, but also excellent light penetration through the canopy. The node orientation of both #7 and #11 look to be spiral formation.

The Silk Haze S is just as vigorous and stature/stretch at this stage, but not elongated Arms.

This isn’t the best example, but it is more “branchy” like this Outback Silk #2.

There have been example in the Alpine Haze 1.0 of Columnar like many ohaze or equally as long branches, but they tend to each then branch rather then hold to single long branches.

The 3 common structures. The Left favors NH21 and Dwight’s Outback #8. Middle. A synergy between Outback and Silk. The Right is Silk S dominant

NH21 Dwight’s Outback #8 has corkscrew spiraling flower formation where branches compete for the top, but flower sights remain tight to the branches

This example of synergy is branchier, but the branches don’t compete for the top. The flower sights remain tight. Eucalyptus and sharp male C type mores detected.

The Silk S dominant continues to branch from branches. Ocimene is detected which turns to wet frankincense in the burn.
