Outdoor grillers/smokers/cookers unite

Gonna be following. Ive been wanting to do one but not sure exactly what to do. But in the same direction you are going with yours. Good luck. My name is Smooth and Im a foodaholic.

Soy sauce and balsamic marinated portobellos, grilled until bowl of sauce boiled. Then flipped grilled longer. Stuff with cheese and bacon then rendered perfect on the top rack. 4 burger patties grilled to medium.

Thanks it was amazing. Good food, i have some leftovers for later :wink:. This was a really good meal. Portobello mushrooms are really good grilled, especially full of cheese and bacon!

So here is where im at with the pork bellies.
They dried overnight in the fridge on a rack.


I hit the meat side with a rub

And the skin side with salt

Im using lump charcoal and maple wood

On the grill they go at 250 F
I’ll try and keep at that temp but it’s pretty windy here today.
Now I wait :slightly_smiling_face:

Done! Cooked to internal temperature 190 F

Before crisping the skin

After - I scorched one a bit but not to bad. Next time less heat.

Im happy with the way it turned out for my first try at pork belly.
It tastes fantastic and has a nice crunch.
