🕊 - Outdoor Growing Adventures With Your Friendly Neighbourhood Pigeonman - 2021/2022

Pigeons are great for eating the birdseed of the ground the sparrows toss on the ground! I swear those little buggers throw more out of the feeder than actually eat from it.

We have a family of Mourning Doves, and now these Pidgeottos on top of so many more flappos so i’m very pleased

Speaking of WTF; my Kosher Kush is gonna make me pull out a fucking ladder during harvest. I’m 5’7" and this this WAS LST & TOPPED

…but STILL decided to do this during stretch. (Has great bud sites now though!)

Did a stem rub while feeding the birdos…
ALL I CAN SMELL NOW IS LEMON PINESOL BECAUSE OF THE KOSHER KUSH.

This is gonna be great if things continue in this pattern

@TopicalWave , especially after enjoying the burning glow of ground-up self-grown nugs in a glass bowl of your favourite bong

They just keep on coming! We’re now averaging 7-10 “Thug Life Doves” every day. They’re so much fun to watch with morning smoke and coffee while I water all the pots.

Make sure you tell the birds not to shit on all our plants outside before harvest time :joy:

No problem there. They’re too busy doing that here to me!

I now gotta work out a daily patio cleaning protocol. May luck out and it’s just a leaf blower moment; may not and need to mask and broom.

Free guano either way for the compost heap!

It went from 25-36c with high humidity to 14-24c with high humidity… and yesterday afternoon I started to see the infamous spots of PM just starting their bullshit.

So, I sprayed everything down and went to town. It took about 30-45min of finger plucking leaves off each plant but this should help curb the bullshit as now I can SEE THROUGH every plant there is sooooo much airflow. They all got a good spray-down of 3% H202 after the treatment and I plant on spraying them again with it every few days.

Year # 3 of hating the fuck out of “Suddenly September PM”. I’m really hoping to find Manitoba Poison in a trade for next year due to the early Sept finishing time; if not I have 2 seedbanks bookmarked with OG user’s :+1: regarding their legitimacy where I can purchase said seeds If I can’t find a trade via OG.

I also decided to hit up my MUTO WWxCO hanging basket with Purple Poison Paralyzer pollen cause why the fuck not. With no training it grew like a ball; aka: GREEN PUFF. So i defoliated it and gonna see what the fuck happens

Sorry to hear of the PM. It is that time of year.

Also, is the residual smell of the sulphur still present?

Nice defoliation!

Thanks bruv. It was smelling like sulfur until the heavy rains this past week.

Prior to this seeing white spots on the leaves was no worry cause it always smelled of sulfur after plucking… but now the white pattern that I saw after everything had dried out didn’t look like what I had been seeing the past month (with the sulfur) so I did a hardcore “OH HELLS NO” and stripped everything.

They got a dose of 36hour fermented Castings tea with Molasses as a treat on-top of the week 5 nutrient solution today. Gonna spray them down again with 3% H202 solution an hour or so before sundown so they dry out before it’s dark.

Hola@Pigeonman

Have you try Lactobacilus misting
on your plant ?

Also someone from Ont. turn me on
Wollastonite is a calcium mineral
that you give to your plant every month
it re-enforce their defense system. He said
that since he started with it he don’t have PM
anymore.

I am testing that now in conjonction with LABS

I have not! Thanks for the suggestion I will look into this.

I think i’ve read up on this and if it’s what I’m remembering Wollastonite is a source of silica accessible to the plant which is boosting the defences. I already dose with Gro-Silic for all my feedings so it may be redundant to add the Wollastonite; but regardless adding it to the initial soil mix would allow for a constant boost of silica during the initial growth phases.

Please tag me with your applications of both! I would love to find out they are both equally solid in stopping this P.M.B.S. :+1: .

Plants look great! I’ve got some pm showing up on my outdoor plants as well right now. Will that defoliation affect their flowering at all?

Tbh i’m not 100% but still committed. I’m not hurtin’ on accessible flower already cured for medicine but will stress out hard if the pm spreads and i didn’t try this. At least we’ll all now see what happens :crossed_fingers:t4:

Last years battle wasn’t fun, and i didn’t strip em like this. The plants will only be ready early OCT so they have some time to either go well or go wrong.

With the plants striped and if it was my grow DoctorZymes has worked for me in the past . No smell no taste can use right up till harvest .
