Outdoor Growing with V(closed due to stolen plants)

Lol can’t be a guerilla grow with perfect control, at that point stay inside. That’s part of the outdoor experience, the highs and the lowest of lows. For me, the reward of a successful season outweighs the lows from the rippers, the pests, the excessive rains the droughts, the hike. With high risk, comes high person gratification. Once time passes, it’s just a bump in the road of life.

unless you’re going for a whole other scale now that you’re inside, why would you need so much power…? the tent people finally made my brain understand tents: it’s hard to control climate in a tent, which was always something that made me wonder why they were used so widely. but it’s harder to control climate in a larger space…especially an attic. just sayin’

@V4vendetta that sucks…my sincere condolences…

i strongly encourage you to make beds, not necessarily raised, but you’ll love what happens when you prep beds as if they were pots…food, oxygen, drainage, etc etc etc

plus even a big plant in perfect native soil will halt growth for awhile when it hits virgin earth…

and don’t make them break all the way through a peat cup when they;re so little. if you need numbers, you need to think about optimizing the growth variables over which you do have control when you’re outside…

just tryin’ to help…

Two years ago, raw site.

Don’t have last year’s pix handy.

This year we’re back to a site that had big 10 foot beds established 5 years ago…psyched to see what they do! Again, just trying to help…

I understand your point of view , I am just still in the basics. I’ve been told: make the plants happy and feel like everyday is Sunday :seedling::sunny:. My personal gratification with some buds to vape is fulfilled . Sincerely I would be quite upset knowing my plants are exposed outside to the rippers, pests, rains and droughts. The only real danger for my poor plants is ME , and they have enough with that … :sunglasses:

For some it’s the ‘outlaw’ rush I guess. If not living on the edge you’re taking up too much space :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

it’s the volume for me. lol

why else would anyone put themselves through an outdoor season? why else would i sacrifice quality if not for quantity? but i kinda can’t bear it anymore. i’m on my way back inside. back to my roots. very happy about it. you can only go without water for so long.

There is nothing I hate more than liars and thieves! Sorry for your loss. My guess is you would have shared some herb with the thieving piece of shit if they had asked. I almost cried when my regular plants got decimated by bugs, it was heartbreaking. Mother Nature can be sad enough, but to be violated by thieving fellow humans is even worse. May the fleas of 1000 camels infest their crotch!

Cuz I like giant plants that are allowed to be free under the sunshine to reach their potential! (and I don’t have room for indoor grows) lol

Thanks guys. The one thing I tell folks who want to grow their own medicine is to grow 5× as much as you think you’ll need. So when something happens you not totally bummed out…and you can afford to take breaks from growing a constant rotation.
The outdoor grow was for breeding. I already prepared another small spot earlier this year deep in the woods…shity lighting is why i havent used it. I’ll work on the attic until I get my home grow license in November. December I find out if we got the commerical license. (Still going over application questions) Keep your fingers crossed.

I feel for you and the loss…more a loss of respect and that feeling of safety than an actual loss of weed. I’ve lost hundreds and hundreds of plants. People walking cornfields, helicopters overhead, partners with loose lips/greed and a combine more than once. I’ve learned that less is more…don’t tell a soul…plant way more than you need some years will be more fun than others :grin:. DONT let assholes ruin your kind spirit and happiness!
