OUTDOOR: Over or underfeeding?

Hello,

Been growing this Holland’s Hope Outdoors with no special amendment to the soil. Just used universal soil to plant them back in june.

Been fertilizing every week/2 weeks with NPK 7-3-5 mineral fertilizer during veg with no problems.
Now feeding PK 13/14 (2ml/liter) and 1/3 of the dosage I was using for the NPK 7-3-5 fertilizer.

Wondering If I’m overfertilizing now?

I’m real bad with the leaf specific deficiency thing, but generally there’s a chance of acclimation. feed changed plant will acclimate to it. sometimes the biggest error is simple over correction.

So Hollands Hope is kind of easy plant for outdoor growers, i guess you added too much PK.

Yellowing starts from bottom = mostly Nitrogen deficit

IMO they don’t need much PK at this stage right now, your soil should still have enough because flower just started at your place.

Maybe drench / flush soil with 50 - 75% of your NPK you used for Veg at pH of 6.3.

How are the weather conditions over there? Considering you are in native soil could be a variety of issues so hard to diagnose.

It’s been raining quite a lot the last few days. Temperatures around 20°C

At a quick glance you were underfeeding them which is why they’re so yellow at the bottom and are now likely overfeeding owing to the tip burn.

A little tip burn isn’t so bad.

All the best.

I always come back to pH and root zone issues indoors or outdoors bc it can manifest as nutrient deficiencies or excess. High 60s F° is pretty mild weather for cannabis and not ideal unless it’s late flower. Hard to tell from the photos but how damp or dry is the surrounding soil?

It gets pretty dry once the sun is out?

Cut back on water and fertilizer. The rains have made the fertilizer more available. Dark stems show they have too much P/K. Next time prepare a bigger spot of soil. Imo

I’d like to cut back on water but it just started storming :joy:

If you think you’ve overfertilised, and you can’t flush it then it’s always OK to add more soil on top so the plant has room to grow out. Once it gets through the next cycle of growth it will be able to process all the extra nutrients. Sometimes what happens is they look like they are dying back from stress or maybe a bit too much sun then whoosh
