O guess I really do just need to find a somebody to workfor if I want to have a taste of my dream lol, ugh Ive just been fucked over by so many jobs
What part of the state are you in?
I currently live in OKC, but Im not opposed to relocating.
Idk the going rate there, or the amount of tax your required to pay. But here in Maine, caregivers are allowed 30 plants for their patients, and $200/oz seems to be the going rate.
Damn @Seamonkey84! Now thatās what Iām talking about. If it wasnāt so cold there, Iād be packing!
Peace
Yea I need to look at cost of living in Maine!!!
last time i went in they were outā¦ weve had a heck of a time getting getting any into the grow shop ourselvesā¦ our last delivery i was able to secure my self a few bags of larger sized pumiceā¦ i think im gonna give up on perlite, and just use the pumice/rice hulls
country is the bestā¦ okc and tulsa are falling apart lol
youre right by meā¦ im in sapulpaā¦
The way I see it, is use whatever works! They all do about the same thing and availability always counts when price and performance are same or closeā¦
maybe a little more than that now that fuel prices are high and biden and crew are shutting down alot of solvent productionā¦ iso/h202 prices will be skyrocketing too. nutrients, grow pots, etc, anything made with fossil fuels.
I only found perlite one place locally the rest were sold out and it was over twice the amount I paid last year so I ordered online and saved 20 bucks . To me 50 bucks for a bag of perlite is high . Idk maybe Iām just a tight wad.
perlite is bad news anyways, it never goes awayā¦ pumice and rice hulls are the futureā¦
you dont have to be large scale at all brother, you can run a craft cannabis outfitā¦ stick to the strains you can nearly perfect. sell half as flower or run it all as concentratesā¦
I may test out how using pine shavings will do, since I already buy it .
coco bits!!! cyco makes a coco brick with bits for aerationā¦ pine shavings will moldā¦ learned that the hardway
Good point , didnāt even think of the mold , I was looking at the aspect of it breaking down in the soil
coco coir and chunk, and most home brewery shops carry rice hull or malted barelyā¦ great alternative to perlite as well
None of those type of shops around here lol
i tried it in a living organic and in a week i had moldā¦ not the good fungus you wantā¦ it soaked and held moisture a little too well, couldnt get enough air into my soil bc it mushedā¦ it nearly fd off my last run lolā¦ .specially if youre growing indoor. 10/10 wouldnt recommend unless you got some time to monitor your soil saturation
