Wow, those are some cover girls, fer real. I have some Archive strains to do next run. Iām stoked. Nice grow! peace
I donāt normally need to stake but with the G99 and DHXC99 I have had to. I use dollar store snow ditch marker guide poles fibreglass stakes, they are plenty long enough. I just put 4 into my pot with the DHXC99 and used some plastic tape tied to them for supporting branches.
Heres a pic.
Those are sweet, they look much sturdier than the thin bamboo ones. I notice you chunk em right into the dirt as opposed to along the sides of the pot, Iām going to try the same for extra stabilityā¦gonna need it for some huge g99 nugs
dayum sheās a beast! Very nice bro.
Yeah straight into the soil to the bottom of the pot. She is nearly 5ft tall from the top of the pot now.
She will be pretty big, I just hope I can get enough food in the soil for her, she is a little sulfur deficient ATM, so I am doubling the Epsom, and a big dose of gypsum and sulfur, to top dress the pot, I just hope it will not be to late. I may foliar feed her as well.
Did you ever end up growing out the Grimace?
Just popped some beans that Iāve had for a while
Update on the DHXC99 at week 5 of 12/12.
She is starting to bulk up now, got a little N deficiency but thatās not a problem as she is into full on bud production now.
Close up of some colas.
Beautiful @Shadey Very nice job. This far into flower I think youāre all good being low on N.
@SquirtleSquad I have not popped them yet I really need to.
Just finished the Bodhi Testers and finishing up the last of these Sacred Snows and I will pop more seeds maybe I can get those in the mix.
Agree with you
Holy shite, Paint. Is it just another day for you folks up there?!
Me living in wussy California weather, I would not know how to function in that climate!
Such awesome grows and gear you got happening. Nice!
I second this! $@#%&$^*
Itās how they keep us 'mericans out
ā¦thats chilly, indeed! over here in EU it almost feels like spring right nowā¦usually in Jan we should have frost & snow too.
Wow chilly -43 windchill, 30 seconds exposure, and things start snapping off lol.
I once accidentally froze a glass of water on the neighbours truck, had the glass of water in my hand and saw him outside, so went out to speak to him, put the glass on the hood of his truck, and it froze solid in 5 minutes @ -21. He was not amused, as he drove off with it on the hood before I realized it had gone,
Yikes, thatās cold for anywhere. Hope it wonāt last long. That sort of cold creeps into the house no matter what you do. I spent 12 years in Montana and got my fill of it. I was young then. Not as fun now.
No boxers, briefs only in this weather.
Thatās too funny that cup was probably stuck there for a week or two eh?
Oh you lived in Montana than you know lol. I bet itās the exact same there. Right? I didnāt mind it as a kid but as an adult I hate it a little bit more every year.
lol not me but I swear my neighbor barbecues all winter long
OK, one bowl wasnāt enough for that last one. hehā¦ 'muricans.
Yeah, Iād love to live in Montana, but well, HELL NO. Maybe summer. Iād have to be rich now. The richest among us swept in and bought it all and now itās tough to make it. It always was, but. I was young and worked at our local ski hill and skiied and snowboarded for free every winter and worked for just above minimum wage in the ski shop.
Now, all I can think about are those 6am mornings in winter where I had to start a backhoe to plow the driveway to the road so I could go work for almost nothing. Iām not sure I have that much spunk anymore. I have pics of the digital Bank sign at -29F at 10am.
Itās beautiful, but it lasts a long time. Spring is the season that almost comes every year but never does really, heh. Too wet and muddy to hike or bike, skiing closes, rivers too high to fish, from runoff, cold, and anybody with money has gone to Puerto Rico for the spring. It was mildly depressing since I wanāt one of them.
Winter here is just reminders of it all but I wouldnāt want any more than I have now. Iām in southern Colorado but the last two years we had some sub zero temps and a lot of snow compared to my first year. But, at least I can stay busy growing now. Much easier to get through winter! peace
