I was just trying to get an idea, so I can time the pollen, so it’s at least semi fresh. I would hate to get you some that’s less than optimal for something like this.

Ok, thanks. I really appreciate that. I have been debating on keeping a male. Originally I was just going to try to get 1 female but with one of the seeds dying I ended up planting more. Didn’t just want to end up with a male and have to start over. I was planning on growing a couple other plants for smoke while doing this, but since this is for all of OG I decided to put my energy into this seed run instead and skip making myself more smoke for now. My last harvest a while ago gave me plenty of smoke. Now I am hoping that I can grow one of 2 females along with a male or something along those lines. I am sure my last harvest will keep those dubes coming for a while

Hey @lefthandseeds or @Instg8ter, what do you all think about veg times for seed run plants? I don’t want to make them too big but want a decent return. If anyone else has an opinion on this I would be grateful to hear it?

These veg pretty slowly, so you might need to give them an extra week or two. They don’t need to be very big to produce a decent number of seeds though.

Ok, many thanks for the input. I suppose the best thing is to throw out the calendar and just veg them until they are a decent size. Did you run these inside? How much did they stretch after flip? Man it’s nice to have some likes available again, lol.

They don’t stretch a lot. You’ll have no problem keeping these a manageable height. Easier in that way than most strains, for sure. Nothing to worry about there.

I agree I like them manageable when seeded and it’s not unimaginable to get a few thousand seeds from a 3-4’ plant.
have 3 PPP down now looking all female, waiting for the tops to split to a full node, just put in pre flower. These are a bud run for meds and to test. Trying to hold off on seed runs until the summer. Need to cap some jars with meds and head stash first.
Anyone have any teenage pics of Master Kush, hade bean sprouts in paper towel and they got mixed with killer Queen, the PPP were easy to pick out, looks like a 9 frond leaf, tgink I have two lurking.

Im also curious what the fastest time for a seed run could be. I think, if I understand right that the bigger the buds the more points that can be inoculated and therefore more seeds as a result.
But lets say Im not in it for any smokable bud. Could I in theory just wait a week and place them in 12/12 ? I figure that would save at least a month or more.
Say if you only wanted to test a cross you think of, or you just want a few more beans to work with.
I asked another member and I appreciate his response and feedback. Im just curious on everyone elses opinions. Has anyone tried a “speed seed run” ?

Well I dunno it’s straight MK…but mine is a narrow leaf indica that stretches and tastes like some of the best Chem D or Kush I ever had. The seems to be just two phenos one short and one tall.
