I think they are 2 gallon or 2.5. Cant be exactly sure. I started them in coco pellets and than into these pots. The runt was in a solo cup and than transplanted into the pot it’s in now. I figure to keep them smaller this time, I normally use 5 gallon fabric pots. The little runty one was actually popped 8 days earlier but slumped over on me. She has not gotten very tall but has come back strong.
If the runt is the one on the lower left, don’t get surprised if she slaps you right back on the face and start growing crazy bigger than the others…Who knows, it might like the bigger pot! lol Congrats!
Something you might consider, I’ve read that you can revert a seeded plant to veg hours and it will speed up seed production. I’m not sure if it’s true or not, but you might look into it.
I will look into it, thanks man.
Well the light schedule has been changed, now we move into next phase. I have a little over 9 weeks to finish this so I am hoping they are quick finishers. Time will tell.
So here we are, another day done. 20deg Celsius on Mon, inches of snow on my car this morning. LOL, oh spring in Ontario, always interesting. The plants have gone though their first 12 hour dark period today so will be watching closely as the magic should be beginning soon. Here they are today looking nice and healthy. Took a couple leaf pics for all the fans of the big leaves
‘Scuse me while I wipe this drool that just dripped to my crotch. Those are fnckin beautiful.
You might want to move outta the way, I can see the flames starting to shoot outta the tailpipe!!
Thanks @BigMike55 and @Oldtimerunderground . Looking forward to seeing how big they get and what sex they are. Next couple weeks going to be fun.
You got some good cannagar wraps there DD. Save and press those for the celebration.
Go little girls go!
I just came across this while reading the Cannabis Breeders Bible, @DougDawson
Just food for thought. Could be outdated info now for all I know lol
Well second day of 12 hours of dark and plants seem happy. There is a lovely smell starting to come from that tent as well which is pretty appealing
Stellar work, my friend. I LOVE that last shot!
Thanks man, appreciate it. Tried to get a 45 deg shot for you
Nice one @DougDawson. They’re looking pretty happy now.
That’s high praise coming from you man, much appreciated. They do seem much happier now, can’t wait to see how they stretch and what sex they are. I am surprised they are starting to smell so good, that was not expected but a welcome bonus.
Those overhead shots always make them look so purdy
I do like the overhead shots as well but you really cant judge much about the size of the plant looking straight down. It is pretty tho, you are correct. I was liking the ability to see the top as well as over all plant bigness.
It IS pretty amazing to zoom in on those overhead shots and see the tops up close. Its kinda mezmerizing.
