I got these Aventon Aventure 2 bikes for my mom for Mother’s Day and I’ve been cruising on it.
I’m going to just hike in with a ruck/backpack loaded with shit. It’s only 2-3 miles in to the spots on the St John’s. I’m still young enough for that to not be a big deal. I’m going to bring a solar panel with a generator and whatnot. Be watching a movie on the iPad making my coffee in the Chemex in the morning out there. Haha. Just get stoned and walk around pretty much.

I kind of gave up on the whole home/multi room audio and I’m just going to put a decent whole room Bluetooth speaker in each room. Poor man style. All of the stuff for setting it up the proper way seemed like a lot. Haha

Haha I went hiking by myself yesterday and then got pissed at my phone when I got home, so I tossed it and didn’t pick it up until this morning.
Gets warm out there hiking. I guess I need to get into birdwatching to make it more interesting out there too. Haha
You be careful with that birding shit. I put up a bunch of feeders in my back yard for my wife. I never thought id be the kind of guy to get obsessed with everything birds. Its a slippery slope. Haha
Haha No feeders in my yard besides plants. I don’t want to see the little birds getting attacked and all of that. Haha
All of these trails around me are all listed as great birdwatching trails. I didn’t see any bears, panthers, bobcats, or anything. Figure if I get into birdwatching and all of that, it’ll give me something to do out there. I have zero clue what you do though. I feel I’ve seen them writing when they see certain birds in a book and talking about the ones they haven’t seen yet. As long as it doesn’t turn into some Tippi Hedren type scenario.
Yeah. There are hard core birders that travel the country to look at birds and record them in a book. Im not ever doing that. Its not that serious. Yet…
I think for your average enthusiast you just go outside, smoke a j, and listen for and try to look at birds lol.
I just checked out a beginners guide and I don’t know if I’m going to do all of that. Haha. Binoculars, a spotting scope setup, a good camera, and a microphone. I’ll be looking like a PI or some shit with all of that. I’m just going to walk around the forest. Haha
