Pat Healy Grows & Nonsense

Not to derail your thread but I noticed you run a very similar system @PatHealy. You even use tap water? What the heck. That’s awesome. You’re having much better results than I am though. I’m heavily thinking of switching to ro. Our baseline tap is 750ppm and it clearly making the nutrients unavailable even though I regularly adjust pH.

Look at these very unhappy little gals.

Cool thread, seeing you have success with a similar setup is motivating

That’s unfortunate about your tap water. Cool to see someone running a super similar style though. I’ll test my tap today. Think it’s usually 450ish.

@sardinebags Hey bud consider a sediment/decorator… they can get your tap water very clean without the RO waste ect. They work very well I have used this model and recommend it for years … @PatHealy your list is making me want a new cut I’m going to have to expand my Veg lol Cheers !!! Happy Sunday everyone !!!

Could I hook that up to a faucet when I want to fill the res and then take it off? I might try something like that.

Great minds think alike. Id love to have something I can hook up to the waterline then remove. You’ve got me curious @BTYGMO . Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll see about what it might take to add a t valve and pipe my sink waterline

You can put various fittings on these to pretty much adapt to any connection you need. They don’t have waste like RO. The garden hose pretty much flows full speed through the system, making it a much faster process. You could easily adapt it for your sink to screw right on the faucet… they have quick release fittings so you can pretty much put anything you want on there. Plus, no waste And they don’t need a drain for the waste water. In my opinion, the systems completely remove the need for RO. My water comes out at about 100 PPM sometimes a little less. More than adequate for any high-quality garden. Cheers !!! The 2 models I always recommend are the Tall Boy and Small Boy.

You can actually get a small fitting to screw right on the tip of your faucet where your screen for your faucet screws on. I ran them like that for years so I didn’t have to have anything permanently attached works great. I have since permanently attached filters and etc., but did like that for years easy nothing permanent. You can also get 3/8 line to make a hose long enough to reach anywhere you want. I have a roughly 30 foot 3/8 line to reach from water source to my resivor. You could go a lot more if you wanted or need to.

Check your local social media sites… I have gotten these units for 100 bucks basically barely touched. I’ve also got them at the Hydro shop as low as 180 out the door brand new warranty on the tall boy you can get the small boy for less sometimes 100 bucks on these good deals. For most of us, the small boy will do just fine. It’s a lot of gallons but I got the tall boy the last few times just the price was too good. The last a long time. I have just sourced them for other people To mimic my watering. Cheers !!!

No clue what happened with my PCG clones. I was told they were out for delivery on Saturday, never got tracking myself, and UPS just came again today with stuff other than clones. Nothing on my USPS Informed Delivery. Chance of them being alive if/when I get them is lowering. I sure hope they didn’t go to a neighbor. I’m just worried about neighbor getting them. Haha. Mail loves messing with me on these things.

God i could only be so lucky to accidentally have some weed shit show up to my house on mistake.

Really hoping these clones show up today, because I’ve been paranoid since last night. I can’t do another night worried about a neighbor telling on me. Haha

UPS just came and no clones. Nothing listed on USPS Informed Delivery. Can’t get a response about tracking. Fun stuff.

That’s a nightmare dude. I’ve had that fear with seeds, tents, etc. Well… if it went to a neighbor all you can do is deny deny, or say that your pothead uncle must have had them sent to your place or something lol. Of course if the law asks you anything, remaining silent is the way. Good luck bro

Yeah, I have the Chief of Police, a Sheriff, and a State Trooper right around me in a small neighborhood. Has me a little worried. Haha

FedEx even came by and dropped stuff off today, but no clones. I’m so confused. Haha

It’s not necessarily probable, but is it possible someone along the delivery chain recognized the sender (or otherwise figured out it was something they might want) and snagged the package? You’ve been getting a fair number of clones delivered recently, if they’re packaged at all similarly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sorry if that introduces a new thing to stress about! :grimacing:  I hope they just got backed up with the holiday and they’ll get there soon!

How long have they been in transit? Did they give you tracking?

Definitely not that. Never had them shipped from this person and everyone in this neighborhood has boxes delivered daily, so I don’t think anything stands out. Just USPS flat-rate boxes and whatnot. I just wish I had a tracking number. The user I traded with isn’t on everyday, so I haven’t gotten a response since Saturday morning. Hopefully they’ll logon tonight and shoot me the tracking number.

They were mailed Thursday. Then, they said they’d get me tracking when they found the receipt and then shot me a message Saturday morning that they would be here that day, so I assumed tracking said out for delivery. The person hasn’t logged on since then, so hasn’t seen my messages. I’m just hoping they got stuck somewhere and weren’t delivered to a neighbor. I didn’t pay for them or anything, so I don’t care about that, just worried about my neighbors receiving them.
